Re: Brian Cushing
NO WAY is this guy worthy of the 13th pick. NO WAY. He's 2nd round talent.
Remember Dallas Sartz? He had better numbers than Cushin at SC. He's now selling car insurance.
you are retarded....and have know idea what talent is if you are comparing sartz and cushing...are you comparing him cause they are both white and played at usc? well i know you are so please get a clue. |

Mods I'd like to plea for a new rule: name-callers, particularly those who label others as retards, have to use correct friggin grammar in their posts or else receive a week long "ban" if such a thing exists. :oink: |

Word I think Cushing is talented but too many questions about him to warrant the 13th overall pick being spent on him. |

Hey! I resemble that remark!? Or something like that. Anyway, I agree. The punishment must fit the crime. :spank: |
Re: Brian Cushing
I would pick Mack with the 13th pick, in my opinion he's worth it. It's funny how in the old days the C was what a LT is now considered, invaluable!! I still say that as the QB of the OL, that this guy will make our OL better all around.
I read somewhere that the Steelers would'nt pass on him because they know the value of a good center. Remember Mike Webster? I'm with you SFREDSKIN, I'd take him at 13 too. Although he didn't agree with taking him at 13, GTripp mentioned in another thread how much better we would be able to run up the middle with Mack at center. It would also be nice for JC to have a pocket to run up into if he were pressured from the outside. I feel this guy will be better than good. I think he'll become the best at his position in the NFL. He's been compared to Matt Birk of the Vikings. I think we end up regretting it if we don't take him. |

I have to disagree. I think the member in question demonstrates grate incite. I would be discusseded if the mods wood chews to adopt such a policy. He should be aloud to post what he wants on this bored without fear of getting band! |

I agree Alex Mack is definitely a solid pick. I was hoping we could trade down and still get him, but I don't think that will happen now. Does the Redskins' FO realize that Casey Rabach's play has declined significantly and needs to be replaced? And about Cushing, doesn't he benefit from playing alongside a guy like Rey Maualuga? |

And about Cushing, doesn't he benefit from playing alongside a guy like Rey Maualuga?
I actually think it was the other way around... Cushing rarely missed his assignments and covered the other backers when they missed theirs. There's a reason the coaches let Rey fly around and make those highlight hits. |
