Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
How Can You Guys Be Loving This??
If it truly involves us losing a 2nd rounder, it wreaks of Dan Snyder so badly. McNabb is aging and hardly more than a pocket passer anymore, and he is very very very streaky with his accuracy. And some of you think were getting a deal if we trade 1st rounders as well as our 2nd??? THIS IS AWFUL!
New Theory: Shanny and BA were at home eating Easter dinner. Danny called Andy and said, listen my guys told me I had to make this deal. What will get it done. They said bring Zorn back, and Danny said can't do that, but I'll throw in a pick next year like Vinny would have done. Andy said SOLD, What plane you want him on? :vomit: |
Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
GREAT move! we are set at QB for the next 5 years. now we have plenty of time to fill our myriad of other needs and draft a franchise QB in 3-4 years. best QB we've had in twenty years.
Or five months. Whichever comes first.
McNabb probably is the best quarterback we've had in 20 years. But he's still the 4th best quarterback in the division, which means we're going to need to look elsewhere to get that competitive advantage against our rivals. |
Is this insane or what. I'm talking to a friend who's a Philly fan and she's pissed.
McNabb apparently wanted to come to D.C. Interesting.
LaVar and Antonio wanted to play us twice a year two after all that he's been through there of course he wants the chance to beat them even Jansen's bum ass was butthurtedly happy about the Detroit win |
I think he's got longer than that. 3-5 quality seasons. He keeps himself in good shape.
ARE YOU KIDDING??? He has battled injuries almost every year! He rarely creates with his legs anymore.... Yet he's going to get up to 5 more quality seasons? |
Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
This is an immediate upgrade at the QB position. Bye bye JC finally!

we only have him for 1 year as of now. He will be a Viking next year, my magic meatball guarantees it. |
Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Just heard that in addition to the 37th pick, the Eagles get a conditional pick next year- either our 3rd or 4th. We now only have 4 picks in this years draft. Gotta think we're really going to try to trade down from 4th overall and/or trade a current player or two for more picks.
See ya Campbell. I don't know how I feel about this yet. Gimmie some time to process. |

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Not a fan of this move. Nothing against McNabb, but there are to many ways to get royaly screwed with this move. Risk vs Reward , once again a wait and see approach. If this dosen't work and he's gone after a year and we miss out on a great player with the draft pick we've given up.IDK what to say.....
I have to admit I've been a McNabb fan going back to his SU days. Can't wait to get a #5 jersey.
def not getting the jersey.. no clue how long he'll be here, what he'll do, etc I'll root my ass off for him but that's about it |
Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Funny this the second blockbuster trade involving QBs between these two franchises. Wow!!
|
Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
This is fine with me, we get a Tackle with the first pick, and now instead of drafting a second tier QB with the 2nd round pick, we get a starter and upper tier QB in the league. Get ready to see some of our players traded to acquire some more picks in this years draft. BYE BYE COOLEY????????????

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
This is like Shanny getting Elway, a franchise QB..
|
Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Next move.....sign T.O.
This is like Shanny getting Elway, a franchise QB..
Yeah, I look forward to the day where people say "Well Shanahan has never won a Super Bowl without a QB named Elway or McNabb." |

Poor JC. The irony of McNabb booting him off the team. |
