At my advanced age, I can't keep up with all of the many roster designations and rules. What does this mean in terms of when the Skins could add him to the 53-man roster?

The preseason PUP list, they can be activated at any time. If they go onto the regular season PUP list, then they have to be there for 6 weeks before they can be activated.

It has to be done by 6pm tomorrow which is less than 24 hours away. Cant be much longer. Some teams have already started. Will probably be hearing about cuts through the day tomorrow.

X-factor is Tanard Jackson, with P.Thomas out, Merriweather coming off injury and Rambo looking like he'll need experience..

Tanard could get reinstated soon and bump Number 53 off the list. So I guess someone may make the team tomorrow and get dumped within the week...

In the past, the NFL has usually given a roster exemption for cases like this. There is a chance we could run a 54 man roster for a however long the an exemption is if Tanard is reinstated.

I am thinking we should be watching for OT cuts around the league such as Matt Starks (San Diego), J'Marcus Webb (Chicago)
