Seriously... Who cares?

Nvm, apparently everyone except me.

Either he plays or doesnt play. We will find out on Monday night. The rest of it is just garbage that has no relevance.
Yeah I agree. Everyone likes to blame the media for creating these shit storms, and then those same people get all caught up in the hoopla. It's kinda funny actually.

So does Dr. Andrews watch everything RG3 does? Does he follow him to the bathroom to make sure his knee is ok? I swear I don't think I remember AP getting all this personal attention...or anyone else for that matter. Better safe than sorry I guess...

RG3 is starting week 1, that much I think is guaranteed. What I'm more interested in now is how they're going to gameplan against Philly. Remember last year in the opener at NO, almost all of his first few passes were bubble screens - helping to take the pressure off the QB. I kind of expect them to do something similar to Philly on MNF. Quick passes to get the ball out of RG3's hands. Once he gets in a rhythm they'll start showing more pistol looks - especially play action to take advantage of the eagles secondary. Morris will also be a huge help in relieving pressure on RG3. Thoughts?

I expect ALOT of Morris in the first quarter. Then quick dagger type slants once the LBs start cheating up. Wouldn't be surprised to see an early deep shot though on a 3rd and 4-5 yds.
Unless they are both sitting back now laughing at how all the media is jumping around in circles. Which I would love to be the case.
MS: Robert, want to make the media go bat crazy?
RGIII: Hell Yeah
MS: Tweet that you are cleared right before my press conference, and then wait for it!
RGIII: k, cool.

[after press conference]
RGIII: [laughing] You are one cruel s.o.b Mike!
Mike: [beer out the nose] Did you see Wise, he nearly blew a gasket when I said the word "concerns"

Oh how I wish that were how it went!!!
A not so small part of me thinks this might be the case.

ESPN is doing anything to get people to watch the game. They are creating news, to get more interest in the game. Griffin is one of the few players in football, that transcends the sport. Griffin drama gets everyone talking, even people that don't care about the NFL.

It's the MNF opener featuring one of the most popular players in the game. I doubt ESPN is worried about ratings.

Never said they were worried about how it would rate, but they want more.

It's officially official. The shocker of all shockers, Shanahan has named Griffin the starter for week 1.
