OK. Fair enough. But we seem less than energized on the field, so rumors of a limp locker room appear to make sense. |
Re: Skins vs Seasquawks Positive and Negatives
When I am able to pick out individual players who are hustling, as I was against Seattle in the first half, then we have a a problem. Somehow, we were not ready to play and they put up a quick 14 points on us - Game Over! BTW, Ryan Clark was one of those who hustled against Seattle. I think he was just trying to cover for other players in his comments.
Anyway, I hate interviews with losing players. I'm not listening to anything more that anybody in the Redskins organization has to say until we get a win. |
Re: Skins vs Seasquawks Positive and Negatives
This team has now lost 12 of 13, won 3 last year and the rest of this season looks bad. They've probably become use to losing. I give both guys a pass. Garçon always plays hard as does Trent. We don't know what was being said in the locker room. And to be honest, reporters IMO should not be reporting what guys are doing in the locker room. This is one reason why they shouldn't be in there. Seems kind of weak to me.

Skins vs Seasquawks Positive and Negatives
I think this is being blown out of proportion just a bit, as usual. Nobody likes losing, but I don't think there's anything wrong with being proud of putting up your best fight in doing so. Guys are playing hard, we couldn't say that last year. I believe we're close to rattling off some wins. The players have to hang their hats on something in order to keep marching on.

Skins fans.......overeacting? Listen to Kerrigan on the post. When asked the question. He responded that he did not remember anybody tdaking the loss lightly fwiw. I do not think they believe it was nothing. I have no problem with them taking some solace in the fact that the team..... Fought they're guts out |

Being down 6 starters and even some starters banged up. It's a miracle they weren't blown out. Yeah, I'd very much would hang my hat on that kind of accomplishment seeing as how talented Seattle is. |

Re: Skins vs Seasquawks Positive and Negatives
What that game proved to me was if Seattle brings its c game and the skins bring their A- or B plus game... Seattle still wins by double digits.
This whole locker room mentality is being overblown. I don't think anyone was happy with being beat on national Tv two weeks in a row. One guy probably made w joke to lighten the mood and then there was laughter. |

Yeah he is. No reason he should have said anything to RC. This was hilarious. https://twitter.com/MrDCsportsSr/status/520001531245264896/photo/1 :laughing2 |
That's how I feel. Why should I care about the team when the folks on the field care about nothing but the after party?
This team will not win until it has more leaders who hate losing.
They can want to win all they want but I dont think that would matter. There isnt nearly enough talent on this team. Not enough talent + no desire = a hot mess. |

On the money. Of all the guys Reid could "call out" he picks the two guys who I saw battling on every play. There were others but Garcon and Williams put in maximum effort. Hell, Trent was questionable and played his ass off dealing with knee pain. Those guys played through the whistle with fire in that game. They don't have to sulk after leaving it all on the field to get Jason Reid's approval. |
Re: Skins vs Seasquawks Positive and Negatives
In the article he says basically that they worked hard but they need to show the other players through their demeanor that what's going on is not ok.
Clark, incidentally said something very similar following a preseason game |
