Re: 2015 Draft Prospects... First Edition
while yes we are certainly more than one player and significant moves in the Front office yet to be made...the turn around in this league can happen rather quickly. Just look at our division year run a couple years ago, nobody could have predicted that

You can't come up with a reasonable analysis based purely on crunching numbers for a single season using factors that may or may not be valid. Common sense needs to come into play, as well. To use a specific example, to call Alfred Morris a bad player defies common sense. Beyond that, the authors are trying to tell us that Trent Williams and DeSean Jackson are average players. No way is that the case. I realize that our roster isn't nearly Super Bowl quality, but neither is this analysis. |
Some young college kids are immature. Winston is ASININE. I hope we don't draft him. He may have all the talent in the world, but someone who acts like a jabrony all the time and gets coddled by FSU does not sit well with me. What sane, rational DI starting quarterback has ever stolen crab legs and stood on a table and screamed profanities at a student council meeting?!? Dude is a couple burritos short of a taco stand if you ask me.
I don't think any QB that I can remember, especially a Heisman winner, that has done this kind of thing. No question, Winston is an idiot. Boom or bust prospect. |
Re: 2015 Draft Prospects... First Edition
Not sure if anyone has mentioned Denzel Perryman (ILB, Miami) ... This guy is a beast!!! He's projected to go 2-3 round of the draft. I would love to see us grab him in the 3rd if he's still available. Check out his highlights

That's GD RIGHT. What if we cloned the best parts of the greatest players into one super-mega-unstoppable player? What then huh? |
Re: 2015 Draft Prospects... First Edition
I'm looking through OLB draft profiles some nice late round picks Za'Darius Smith & Lynden Trail. The release of OLB coach Baker is puzzling.

It appears that Barry intends to be that guy, like last year when our OC was also our QB coach. |

Yeah why couldn't we have a coach that just works on pass rush. |
