Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
MIKE IUPATI.
I agree with the 'build through the draft' way of thinking but nearly every team tries to fill 1 or 2 holes via free agency each year. So this is my 1 player splurge. Then draft a RT and watch our O go! |
Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
I could see a couple of guys from Cincy or a few from Scott's other stops. Other than that I don't expect much.

Guard isn't a position top teams spend max money on. Qb, LT, pass rusher, dominate DT, shut down corner, number 1 wr, super smart Middle LB are all better positions to spend money on. We should pass. He will command top money for the position and be too expensive for us. He will probably make more than the combined salary of all the starting guards in the super bowl this year. (Totally just guessed there, don't light me up too bad if I'm wrong) |

Leave it alone. We got way too much other crap to fix.
Yeah I don't get the whole create a hole to fix another hole strategy? |
Landry was cut by indy, I say bring em in for vet min and try him at linebacker Lol
LOL. Someone might say he is healthier than last time he was here. And even if his Achilles is better, he finally got busted for PEDs last season. No thanks.

I am no longer about wasting roster spots.........

Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
G Mike Iupati
SS Marcus Gilchrist NT Dan Williams (If we don't plan on drafting Danny Shelton) I wouldnt mind Jermaine Gresham if the price is right |
Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
o line...O Line......OLINE!!!
Our Qb play this season may be.....charitably described as uncertain. A strong O-Line can certainly make avg qb play MUCH better in the form of great protection and a strong running game....... |

I would rather draft Danny Shelton than sign Williams, to me he is Dontari Poe 2.0 and we see how that defense developed once he got there. Another thing, what do people think about Ray McDonald. |
Re: Who should we go for in Free Agency?
it looks like we are bringing in Vernon Gholston for a try out, he is a former #6 overall pick, I wonder if they are going to try and make him a true DE since he failed as an OLB with the Jets.
