It would be interesting if he can play well, even get them into the playoffs. And I guess, he's had a couple of years of rest. Just wonder if his arm strength is still there.

Colts-Steelers in the playoffs -- the AARP Bowl.

Holy cow -- just read this:

Fun Fact learned in production meetings:

Philip Rivers ran the same offense as the Colts for his son Gunnar’s HS team this season.

He and Shane Steichen spoke weekly about it, discussing plays and even film.

So familiarity with the scheme should be no problem whatsoever.

As someone ostensibly old enough for AARP, I accept this friendly amendment gratefully.

Dallas loses. Bwahahahahahahaha! Great move Jerry. Get rid of your best defensive player and your D is historically bad.

Well I guess his arm strength isn't there any more. But his leadership ability appears to be.

That Rams/Hawks game last night was the best game I have seen in a couple of years. Having no dog in the fight I just sat back and enjoyed. The 2 pt conversion, given the point in the game and the importance of said game, was one of the craziest plays I can remember ever seeing.

You guys are mad/upset about our season. No excuse at all for the year Detroit is having. They about to get knocked out of playoff contention with ALL that talent on offense. Detroit's defense is legit too.

The flip side of that is SF. They’ve had injuries all year and just find a way to win.

Difference for SF this year vs last is a healthy CMC

And Purdy is balling out
