Didn't he play that last year but scouts though he was a better fit at guard?
LT, and yes, but the buc need OTs more than OGs right now.

17/23... my accuracy is DYING here.

Dirtbag59 04-29-2006 04:04 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

I was actually intrested they were talking about moving Justice to LT when they though he was going to TB for the sake of being a blind side protector, but the fact of the matter is he would have had to stay at RT to stay a blind side protector

Don't worry a little voodoo will fix that right up. Lets go to New Orlen. Karl Malone

Alright Alright. Good pick for the late 1st round

That Guy 04-29-2006 04:09 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

joseph has no agility, but he's got straight line speed up the ...
they need the speed though, tory james just isn't fast enough. its a good value pick.

yo GUY are boys Ryans and Howard are falling

That Guy 04-29-2006 04:11 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

c jackon/holmes, d williams here... small chance at DB/LB depth.

That Guy 04-29-2006 04:12 PM
yo GUY are boys Ryans and Howard are falling
u guys think the way its playin out d'qwell would fall 2 us

Dirtbag59 04-29-2006 04:12 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Chad Jackson if the Giants are smart. Thats why I hope they make a shitty pick

Dirtbag59 04-29-2006 04:13 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Just realized Moss is falling. The Steelers should still take him unless Jackson falls to them

That Guy 04-29-2006 04:15 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

moss is rated #41, he's not falling. D'qwell is rated #39, i doubt he falls to us, but its very possible... just too early to tell.

Dirtbag59 04-29-2006 04:16 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Man Jaws is loosing credibility with me. I was glad he suppoted Campbell last year but saying that Cutler is the best and now picking Holmes over Jackson

Watch the Steelers will end up with someone like Nick Mangold who I just realized should have been picked by TB.

except he's completely right in his arguement. holmes IS the most complete WR. jackson played in a very limited offense and is a bit of a project to convert to the NFL, despite his higher potential.

jets at 29 might beat them to it.

Yeah good point, but my red flag with Jackson is concerning his 10 ypc average. Thats not the mark of a guy who will dominate

If so then the Jets will have an O-Line that will make the Chiefs O-Line look like puddy 3 or 4 years from now

That Guy 04-29-2006 04:19 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

bears : - TE, WR, possibly LB depth for the future.

since the WRs have fallen, they may opt NOT to trade down and take holmes or jackson, whoever's left. pope or lewis are possibilities too.

That Guy 04-29-2006 04:20 PM

its his gimmick offense, not him.

BEARS NEED A TIGHT END. TRADE TRADE man this day is exciting

That Guy 04-29-2006 04:20 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

steelers, wR, RB? i think the giants wanted moss and he'll be their pick.

Dirtbag59 04-29-2006 04:21 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Steelers are the type of team that will make one of these guys good

Dirtbag59 04-29-2006 04:21 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Ben is happy

That Guy 04-29-2006 04:21 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

great pickup. his upside is much better than randle-El's production, an he fits the steelers mold of NOT taking projects and starting draft picks immediately.

Dirtbag59 04-29-2006 04:22 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Hey what did they give up cus I'm under the impression that the Steelers could have made one of these guys into a good solid player and would have been better off staying put

Dirtbag59 04-29-2006 04:24 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

The Coke Head made a good point concerning Ohio State and Pit having comprable offensive styles

That Guy 04-29-2006 04:24 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

panthers: RB - d williams or lendale white... justice is very possible too, but i think rb is the position they prefer.

Dirtbag59 04-29-2006 04:24 PM

Williams is a great pick here. And how could he not be, he accepted me as a friend on facebook

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

steelers already said that 10 draft picks couldn't all make the team so they were looking to trade up for starters... gave up a 3rd AND a 4th... wow (closer to a 4th and 5th since they pick so late though)

That Guy 04-29-2006 04:26 PM

except that DB is maybe their 4th most pressing need (TE, WR, LB depth)

Dirtbag59 04-29-2006 04:27 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Oh well on to DA BEARS. Who better come out of this draft with a TE but I have a feeling they go for my boy Chad Jackson.

BigSKINBauer 04-29-2006 04:27 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

that is good for the giants. That sucks

maybe no one will notice and dqwell comes to us.
I'll be happy with Lenard Pope or mercedes Lewis. THose at TE or richard marshall or cedric griffin at CB

i hope one of these happen
