Anyone notice how knifing is outta freaking control lately? Everyone is running around with the marathon/commando/lightweight setup and just knifing like crazy. It's getting to be pretty damn annoying.

I think the someone on here busted on Halo that the melee killed people to easy. I think the knife is worst. At least in Halo the melee only kills you when you come up from behind if you use it in front of the guy you better have at least a few bullets in him.

In MW2 you just need to get the stab in regardless where you are.

I hate that shit. It's been going on for a while now. If it happens, i usually just swap over to LMG class where I can spray like crazy whenever they come at me. (not too good for the accuracy, but works...)

Yeah its gets a bit too unrealistic.

Thats why I mentioned that while I love this game, but MW1 has its positives in its simplicity as well.

Fine with me... Id much rather get knifed then get sniped by some wimp sitting in a window all game long.

Thats why I will only play games with an objective now (Domination, bomb da base, etc.).

I just find Team Deathmatch really dumb. I run around looking for action and all I do is get sniped. So finally I say "ok I can sit in a window and wait for guys to run by too". I dont really blame the snipers, it's the rules of the game, but the rules are stupid.

If Im playing domination and some guy snipes me while protecting his territory I have no problem with that at all, cuz he's fulfilling his obligation to protect his territory.

I also think K/D ratios are very overrated. I will never have a K/D ratio anywhere near 1.0. If I get to 0.5 Im happy.

When I play domination or other objective games there are many times when my stats are like 6/20 yet I end up 2nd on my team in points cuz I steal/protect a lot of territories.

I dont mind the snipers so much, but when people put a thermal scope on them it drives me nuts. It's like they aren't good enough to find people so they lay out in a field and just spin around in a circle looking for a white object's that sticks out.

Well I've finally gotten to level 70. It feels pretty cool to know that I've committed that many acts of simulated murder. I want to give a special thank you to Yay Superdude who was this random wanna be hardcore racist that ended up being the 1,000 kill for my ACR as well as the kill that promoted me. Thanks Gay Bo!

By the way. I love the AK 47!

If you dont like thermal scopes or heartbeat sensors, just go cold blooded and ninja.

Better yet play hardcore. Minus a few things, there is a pretty good counter for each style of player and particular perk.

I've gone back to hardcore and have been tearing it up. Sometimes the chaos and fast pace of regular TDM gets tiring.

We played regular TDM last night for the first time in a while and it was strange. I'm sitting there like "how many times do i have to shoot this fool with the ACR for him to die?" And yeah, coldblooded and ninja are necessities.

Yeah, especially because it is extremely frustrating when you unload a clip on someone and they still kill you.

I do find regular TDM easier. Perhaps its because the quality of competition is much inferior. I still prefer hardcore.

the knifing IS getting old...i dont mind it until i shoot a guy coming at me 3 times in the midsection only for him to knife me anyway...cause we all know it real life 3 shots to the chest < a knife. anyhow n00btubes seem to be picking up steam again too urhg.

I've been getting in to Madden more lately and NHL 10 is also a great game. I might go back and play some World at War too, I miss the Zombies.

i dont know...if they randomly put zombies into MW3 i wouldnt be able to take the game seriously...i never played WaW but im assuming they did a "chemical warfare" type story for the whole zombie thing...which is fine but sounds too resident evil to me...i would like to stick to the idea of reality since its called MODERN warfare. lol

I don't think the knifing is too bad, although I get my fair share of guys running around and he runs right past me, I glance back and I'm already dead cuz he already knifed me lol. I really, really enjoy 3rd person team tactical, it renders heartbeat sensors useless as well as scopes unless you got a custom scope on a sniper rifle. I'm all about games with objectives too, I don't find team deathmatch/free for all all that fun anymore. my k/d ratio has gotten worse but that's mainly because I go for the objectives rather than just run around trying to kill everyone. I always end up with lots of points, I mean I'm at level 40 prestige right now but it's really easy to level up, I average about 8,000 points every time I play 3rd person demolition lol.

F that. Zombies would work. It's a side arcade type of game. If you never played Nazi Zombies you can't appreciate it. It just a killing spree. Played it yesterday got to level 19 and had to go to work. That game is the Shizz

like i said ive never played it...and right now the mw2/madden 10 addictions are too strong to stray lol so i could be missing out and not know it.

nazi zombie is beastly and would totally be a purchase if brought out and supported as it's own game.
on a side note of fps's, anyone else tried the battlefield demo on 360 or pc? it's like a more wide open call of duty with vehicles and one of the coolest things is you get to keep a copy of the dog tags of players you knife in the game.

yeah im not a fanboy but i do perfer the ps3 mainly for the bluray player and a couple of the exclusives...but yeah i finally hit lvl 60 last night (yes im slow and still trying to prestige lol) but ive started using the m16 and its in one night took my lackluster kill ratio from .78 to .90...so i think im gonna stick with it. i run around like a madman hence why i have the low ratio. i just am too impatient to camp lol

I have recently been playing with using lightweight, marathon and ninja perks.
Then i equip akimbo uzis. It's a complete sprint around, spray and pray pkg. Loads of fun though.

LOL. I do too. I couldn't bring myself to use the knife, but I thought I'd try the speed with UZI's to see what it was like. and it's ridiculous. The only map that it really seemed to work well on was the one with the dead cows... can't remember the name. I'm back to using the FAL though. I want to max it out before i prestige.

One thing that I found after I used the class was that when you're moving that fast, you actually "outrun" the claymores.

the map is rundown and i hate that map to begin with...everyone just camps the buildings. ill have to try you layout to see how it is...i love to run and gun (hence the love kill/death ratio lol)

yeah, just run the boundaries of the map, watch for anyone moving from one camp spot to the next, when you see them, you can run up on them and take them out before they know you're there.

yeah i run the outside and if the team is full of runners i just try to take my time and go to each building look out, kill if i see anyone, and move to the next.
