Any chance Allen keeps even ONE coach after seeing this??

I'd LOVE to be a fly on the wall in Allen's box...

and Snyder's too

I bet you he is LIVID. After making the splash leading up to the game with Allen and expecting us to play well after the past few weeks and instead getting completely EMBARRASSED on national TV??

I'd love to know what Snyder is doing right now...

What could you possibly say in the locker room at half time?
The first half and the play to end the half were choreographed by the existing staff to tell Danny, go hire "the rat" (Shanahan) FUCK YOU VERY MUCH!! That's what Danny gets for embarrassing Zorn in front of people telling everyone Shanahan is the next coach. Would you do the same if you were on national TV and had a chance get back at your boss? Hell yeah!!
When did this happen?

Let's get back to reality people, I doubt a coach would do this on purpose if he wants to work in the league again. Our team just didn't show up period.

I'm talking most EMBARRASSING HALF ever....

Against a division rival where a bunch pf people were picking you b/c you were playing "better" ...

And look like a high school JV team playing the NY Giants... then ending the half with THAT play???

Patriots should have killed us that year.... this .... is the most EMBARRASSING HALF EVER

Now that it is apparent this could be an @#$% you Snyder game, I find it somewhat amusing. I guess it is easier than crying and drinking an obscene amount of beer.

The coaching staff have not adjusted to the game plan to what the Giants were doing on both sides of the ball. I hate to say it but Greg Blache was getting out coached as well.

Please. If it says anything at all it says Zorn sucks. He should be embarrassed. I began to wonder if Bruce Allen told Sherm Lewis to let Zorn be coach this week to see what he has and is capable of. I wonder if it was a part of the evaluation process cause it really looks like how we played prior to Sherm Lewis. Bad plays at bad times. Poor clock management.

I wonder if Sherm Lewis was given the second half and was told let Zorn call the first half. So he could evaluate Zorn. Then he can say he gave Zorn an opportunity and blew it. Ya know ...it's all about "execution".

Agreed. The Giants came to play tonight, they are still in the hunt and they are playing this game as a playoff type game. Kudos to them for doing so.

With the Skins and management you never know, but I would be surprised if it was the case. Allen and Zorn both know how things are going to end up after the San Diego game, so why do this?

I don't know why this is so hard to accept. The Giants are just the better team right now and our players haven't shown up, period. No stupid theory about the coaching staff throwing the game.

After a week like last week what do you expect? Like I said Danny should have waited to fire Vinny and Zorn till the end of the season, but no he couldn't wait. This is what you get when you get major distractions.

Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread

Come on folks, what did you expect? THis team is in limbo right now, while the Gmen have everything to play for still. On top of that they have been ripped a new A hole by the media for about a good month now(especially the defense), so theyhave had even another extra incentive to come out swinging. On top of that this Skins team has no character, especially since ST died. It might end up being ironic how Campbell left the game. I give him only a 30/70 chance of being back next season if he closes out badly.

Zorn on the 4th of July 12-21-2009 10:24 PM

Re: Redskins -Giants MNF Gameday Thread

That call at the end of the half was not an eff you to anybody, at least not intentionally. If anything, it was a big eff you from the coaching staff to the players. A team that is even remotely interested in winning this football game kicks the field goal. Unbelievable.

And then we're wearing the damn burgundy-on-burgundy uniforms, a Spurrier-era innovation. Funny, it feels like the ol' ball coach is back at the helm . . .
