I would not have believed Jason said what's printed there. I have been trying to locate the article I refered to earlier. I never read from that site.
I mean it's possible he said something along those lines, I'm just glad to hear that you didn't fall for all that was written there |

Is JC any better off in Oakland?
Former Washington Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell just spent the first of what promises to be many strange weekends with JaMarcus Russell and the Oakland Raiders - ESPN |
Re: Campbell A Raider
I don't know, it's not really a concern either. He seemed to be fine going there, though I'm sure he figured he'd be the starter no problem. I mean I wish the best for the guy, but it doesn't really matter much to me.

I really have never thought of JC as small:

And i hate to say this, but JaMarcus actually looks smaller than he has in the past. I wonder if he is working with a personal trainer or something....

In the past as in a few weeks ago when he was 300? :) He still looks pretty hefty considering JC is about 235. JaMarshmallow looks at least 260-270. |
Re: Campbell A Raider
lol almost looks as if JaMarcus is saying "Get in mah belly!!"
The Raiders should convert Russell to a blocking TE. He certainly has the girth.

Re: Campbell A Raider
Now if they could just trade Clinton Haynesworth to the Raiders...

Yep, Campbell's still a Raider, nothing to report.

Re: Campbell A Raider
On eve of camp, Raiders name former Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell their starter
Thursday, July 29, 2010 Jason Campbell enters his first training camp with the Oakland Raiders as their starter at quarterback. Raiders Coach Tom Cable named Campbell the team's starter Wednesday on the eve of training camp. "I'm excited about Jason," Cable said at a news conference. "And while we're at it right now, Jason is the starter. . . . He's going to go out in the first huddle, and he's going to do that." click here for rest of article
Good news for Jason Campbell. Bet he hasn't heard anyone was "excited" about him in years.. A good person who had class - I wish him the best. |
Re: Campbell A Raider
Yeah it is good news that he's the starter with no competition. Way to go Jason. I hope he finds some skill to go with that class that he has, .... my mother told me that if I didn't have anything nice to say then to keep my mouth shut. So I will, funny thing though. My sister works at an OB-GYN and said that she saw Jason Campbell and his girl come into her office I think a week or so ago.
|
Re: Campbell A Raider
Agreed Ethat. I wish JC the best out there in Oakland. He is a good man and a nice guy hope he finds some success. Although it will be an uphill battle for him much like it was here.

He's a father? :D No surprise he was named starter, but congrats anyways, JC. |
Re: Campbell A Raider
NO NO NO,... she said that they just came in for an appointment. Now knowing my sisters office you really go for babies, unless he went with her for her yearly pap test. I don't know. I asked her if she told him I thought he was a worthless bum she laughed and said she didn't talk to him that she had to keep it professional. But I'm not sure if it was for a child but if so...then congrats to the bum ! I can't help it
|
Re: Campbell A Raider
I hope he has a good career in Oakland. I'd like to see him play solid there, but if he fails he gets the benefit of the doubt because it's Oakland. I wouldn't have traded him there lol.

Because Monk was the epitome of class. |

dgack for the win

Re: Campbell A Raider
Yeah, its' still weird seeing how much hate and animosity people have for Campbell on this board. It's almost as if he stole 39 mil from us and spent it on cheeseburgers and purple drank.
I mean really Campbell was the closest thing we've had to a consistent quarterback since BJ was here. What more did people want out of the guy? We gave him the worst line in the NFL to play behind and he still played solid. |

Re: Campbell A Raider
I really hope JC does well, and helps the Raiders. I have never been so supportive of an ex-Skin.
I dont know why people dont respect the way JC dealt with things here in DC. |
Re: Campbell A Raider
Who are his starting wr's??? Heywood Bey?? He's really got an uphill battle in Oakland. But the AFC west isn't the strongest division so Oak may sneak up on some people.

Wow, you really need to keep piling it on? We get it, you don't think he was a good QB. He's on another team and can't be the scapegoat anymore. Don't you think it's time to hate on someone else? |
Re: Campbell A Raider
I hope Jason won't have to raise a child in OAKLAND.

Re: Campbell A Raider
Ahhh nothin like reading the "leave Jason alone" posts while taking my morning dook.
Now djack I love Anchorman by the way but my screen name is ironic ? I am an Art Monk fan but if Art Monk had an infinite amount of class but looked like crap in my eyes on the field then my name would be something else. rbanerjee I'm piling it on ? Really ? There are about 1,000,000 posts about Haynesworth and Portis needing to go but my stuff is really what just chaps your ass ? Amazing. Maybe I should go to the Haynesworth thread and talk about how fat he is, or how much of a spoiled brat he is, or how he and Portis are Danny's last toys and that they just need to go so I can be cool huh ? No, that's not me. I didn't really pile on the mans game, but hey. I got what I want, he's gone. It's just that I don't buy into the bull that some of you sell when it comes to him. Anyway, it was a freaking joke but when it comes to a great guy like that I guess you all don't like those. Lemme go talk about Albert and why he should go, that seems to be the style these days. |
Re: Campbell A Raider
^ werd
people gotta loosen up a bit, it's camp time! |
Re: Campbell A Raider
Look dude, write whatever you want. I just think it's funny that you idolize one of the classiest Skins ever to wear the uniform and then write a bunch of stuff trashing Campbell because he brought his lady into the OB office (still don't get why that's funny, but whatever)
|
Re: Campbell A Raider
It was a joke that just got carried too far. Let's just all let it go. We all know that humor, sarcasm, etc isn't always best conveyed online.
|
Re: Campbell A Raider
This is crazy that a Jason Campbell thread is one of the top three on the second day of Redskins training camp.

Are you effing kidding me? I said that my sister works at an OB and that she saw him. That was the end of THAT post. When and how did I trash him for going to the office. Someone thought he had a baby coming, I said I don't think so but congrats to the bum. Was it the "the bum" comment that killed it ? I said congrats IF he was having a baby. Or was it me talking about my quick convo with my sister when she told me she saw him ? If so, then you need to go have beer and a J and relax man. |
Re: Campbell A Raider
SO, how bout them Raiders?
