I'm sure he'll get more yards than McNabb, and his team is winning.

He doesn't want to leave McNabb and Russell lonely.

Holy sh*t, that was a 63-yarder!!

Seabass!!!!!!

Re: Around the NFL week 1

So, Oakland might trash the entire AFC West...again... while Denver seems to be in the running for Luck.

Re: Around the NFL week 1

Wow the Raiders are getting more yards per rushing attempt then they are with pass attempts. Is Todd Collins available for the Raidahs?

Notice JC's top recievers so far are both "check down" guys...lol

Good ole Captain Checkdown.

mooby 09-13-2011 12:26 AM

So now that we know Seabass is good from 63, does anybody think he was still worth a first round pick?

As Yoda would say, a couple career highlights is not a first round pick worth.

mooby 09-13-2011 12:41 AM

And Eric decker with the nice punt return for a td. The broncos aren't done yet.

Edit: without fail it always takes me a little time to remember I always pause the game for about 15 min so I can skip commercials n etc.

Are people yelling for Tim Tebow yet? lol

SFREDSKIN 09-13-2011 01:23 AM

Re: Around the NFL week 1

and some people wanted to trade a 2nd or 3rd rounder for Orton. The guy is an average QB who actually benefited from McDaniel's offensive coaching.

Bucket 09-13-2011 01:32 AM

Re: Around the NFL week 1

So at this pace..

Mcnabb will pass Brady's week 1 yardage by week 13? lol

mooby 09-13-2011 01:32 AM
Are people yelling for Tim Tebow yet? lol
Actually yes. How'd u guess? And Orton def hasn't been looking that good.

Re: Around the NFL week 1

We might as well pencil in Sebas as the starting pro bowl kicker this year for the afc, making a 63 yarder on national tv

Former Redskin QB's combined for 144 passing yards in week 1.

No, that was just idiotic...2nd or 3rd round would've been dumb also, but they couldve taken him in one of those rounds....man, if we wouldve made that pick for him in the 1st round, I wouldve literally blew a fuse in my brain and I wouldve passed out, my anger level wouldve been so high....

The AFC West has so many former Redskins you have to be rotflmao. Norv's there, Zorn's there, Saunders is there, B. Lloyd, Champ, Cartwright, Heyer, Campbell.

Dirtbag59 09-13-2011 02:27 AM

Re: Around the NFL week 1

At McNabb's current YPG rate it would take him until Week 14 to equal Tom Brady's week 1 output.
At McNabb's current YPG rate it would take him until Week 14 to equal Tom Brady's week 1 output.
Bernard Berrian is a burner. He can make it happen in 12 weeks, tops.

Jeez Louise....Tom Brady is a machine.

Re: Around the NFL week 1

I was thinking watching the Raiders last night, they looked remarkably like the ZornSkins.....Heyer off side twice on consecutive plays....JC throwing in the dirt to an open reciever.......Oh well

skinsfaninok 09-13-2011 09:14 AM

Re: Around the NFL week 1

Oakland will win 6 or 7 games tops, they have no passing game at all and DMC won't last all yr getting hit like he did last night.. Denver is horrible, orton and Lloyd is all they got on Offense and their D is just bad.. They'll have a top 10 pick again

Well, we have some of the AFC West, too: Shanny, Kory L., Gaffney, Torain, etc.

Typical JC performance. 13 completions for 105 yards.

mooby 09-13-2011 07:21 PM

How great was mnf this week? A 63 yard field goal and a 99 yard touchdown pass? That's amazing

Don't down JC for that stat line, he played well...but with McFadden running wild, no QB would need to throw much.

You forgot to mention Campbell's TWO touchdowns in his team's WIN.

Okay, most of you know my views when it comes to religion, etc., but this just made me laugh. Randall Cobb explaining why he decided to return the ball out of the endzone in last Thursday's game:
"I just got lost in the moment there," Cobb said. "I just trusted in God. He told me to bring it out. I'm not supposed to bring that out at all. I'm not. Some things are illogical, and some things are the power of God. That definitely was the power of God telling me to bring it out. And he gave me great teammates to help block downfield."
God apparently had a $50 bucks on Green Bay and wanted to make sure they covered the spread.

^ Apparently God has nothing better to do than to coach Cobb on kickoff returns. That's just how important Cobb is. Instead of creating peace or eliminating hunger, God is guiding kickoff returns.

What would he have said about God had he fumbled the ball and they ran it back for TD?
