wow is an understatement. I really dont like this for the Jets, Sparano? An oline coach who developed Henne so well? I understand they want to run the ball but not a good choice. Schottenheimer should go to Tampa.
They speculated about hiring Todd Haley as an assistant head coach. Since his specialty is passing that may be the two halves to the puzzle, Sparano rushing and Haley passing.

That was a "win now to save my job" move. Gave up way too much.

Dolphins holding 4:30 press conference. Fisher?

If he had the choice wouldnt St Louis be the better choice, with weaker division, decent qb and all?

Sparano was useful to Romo.

I wonder if this could mean that Miami is off the market for a QB in the draft (at least the first round). Wasn't Fisher looking for a place that had a QB in place already?

Maybe the Rams brass said they will listen to offers for Bradford and that scared him off? (cue wild speculation)

According to multiple reports, a stable stadium location is more important than a stable QB situation. And with the Rams being frequently mentioned for a possible move (back) to Los Angeles...

For Pete's sake, it almost sounds like we're going to get the LA Rams and the LA Raiders back.

I believe that the Rams do not have an "out" in their lease until 2014 so if they covet a return to LA, they will have to hope for a lot of hemming and hawing on the negotiations to get a team there.

They have weird "stadium must be one of the 7 best in the NFL" clause and if it's not they can get out. Who knows what it's based on

Re: Coaching Changes

I love the Bradford trade rumors .. seriously .. if you can't land RGIII I would love the intrigue of bringing Bradford in .. he would look solid in B&G .. kinda like a Cutler to Bears move ?? Young QB with lots of talent shipped out in a "weird" situation ... not that we should give up Bears picks but hey let's be real, we land Bradford, RGIII, or LUCK I'm feeling pretty effin jacked up for this team in the fall.

It's 2012 bro maybe their thinking ahead. If St Louis will not give them more money or a new stadium then maybe they are planning on being ready to move into a new stadium in LA in 2014.
That was a "win now to save my job" move. Gave up way too much.
Didn't work re: saving Hue's job, but Palmer played quite well, all things considered.

1st and 2nd round pick well? He wasn't going to be able to justify the trade in one season no matter what he did. I think it's still a "live" trade for the Raiders (and an known victory for the Bengals).

Interesting choice. Having experience as both a QB and WR coach helps. He's also up for the HC position at Yale.

Jeremy Bates may be another option

What makes no sense about this rumor is that the Al Saunders offense in DC never took flight until Jason was injured and Collins was playing.

My first thought.....

"Were putting the band back together" lol.

Second thought.....
Isn't fischer a WCO style of HC and he's gunna use a non WC style of offense?

Last thought was.....

It really didn't work out well the first time around why would anyone bring in GW and A.Saunders to work together again? and why would GW want to leave a SB contending team to go work for a non SB contending team? at the same position?
