Put Michael Brockers in that group too.
Still undecided on him, love his character, love his potential.. But he's benefiting from having played on an OUTSTANDING defense, and he didn't have top 6 production. He's not going to come into camp day 1 and win a spot like we've seen with our last few 1st rounders. |

Just wait until RG3 runs between 4.35/4.45. |

Passing up RG3 to pick up a 3rd round pick is unjustifiable. |

I already know he'll run that. |
Re: I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense)
I'm just not sold on Cleveland giving up on McCoy. Now granted it's fans on a board like this, but 70% of Browns faithful want to give him a weapon. Minnesota only has one starter on contract in their secondary. Rams just can't seem to "hit" on picks for O-line and Tampa could go DB.

A whole lot can change with guys like Manning and Flynn on the qb market plus yes even Matt cassel may be available

Tampa should go DB with Talib maybe going to jail. |

Best deep arm in the draft with 4.40 speed? If there isn't a trade involved, he's going to be a Brown 100%. I'm not even that upset over it either because I'm going to cheer for him wherever he goes. |

Didn't mean to get off subject there, but I didn't want to start a mock draft thread just yet.

They seem to be in a good position to ride out McCoy till next year and get Barkley if McCoy doesnt work out. |

Are you aware of Mike Holmgrens love for Seneca Wallace? Well, now that you are imagine him turning down the chance to take Seneca Wallace with 20 times the talent. Minny may have a worse O line than they do secondary. They could go either way and come out a much improved team. Matt Kalil is the best LT prospect since Jake Long. A certain teams draft history doesn't change that. |

Are the Browns going to pass up one top 3 QB prospect, for the #1 overall favorite? I think they have a little more optimism than 1st overall. |

Kalil would be to the Rams what Calvin Johnson was to the Lions. |

When I see Hoyer's name mentioned, I just can't help but think of the game he came in to last year when the Pats had it wrapped up. He started screwing up and threw an INT and back in came Brady. |
Nobody really cares what a QB's 40 time is.
You're trying to shrug off recent success of dynamic QBs. The truth is, if a QB can add a 4.40 to the best deep arm in the draft, you're going to do nothing but improve your stock. But you know this right, NC_Skins?

Look at Shanahans quarterback history and maybe you'll have an idea for quarterbacks he likes. But, let's be honest... At this point we don't know what he likes, McNabb, Grossman and Beck were all supposed to be terrific football players. I think he'll settle for the most productive quarterback from this years draft. One thing we do know, he obviously didn't like Gabbert that much, but probably would have drafted Locker. Andre Johnson is in Calvins league in terms of freak of nature as was T.O. Randy was physically gifted but that was basically speed and height. The new guys have Randy's speed and height as well as unmatched strength and physicality for the Wide Receiver position. |

Why do you say he would have drafted Locker? Did he sit down with you and say it? Or are you going off of Shanny's history and connecting him to a QB that can run the bootleg similarly to RG3? Funny that you say that, yet bash me. In fact RG3 is better than Jake Locker at every single aspect of football... And I loved Jake Locker last year. Re: I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense)
Feck the system.
If Griffin is there you take him and make a new system. Shanahan is totally blowing it in the QB dept so far. The Redskins havent had a real QB since the dead sea was mildly ill. You take that boy!!! |

The Browns would not pass on RGIII for two reasons:
1. RGIII is an exceptional talent. 2. Colt McCoy sucks. |
Re: I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense)
Unfortuneatly the Browns will not pass on RG3, in fact I can even see them trying to move up to make sure somebody such as us doesnt try to move up and snag him which i hope we do. RG3 will go top 5 just not sure to who.
