Glad the Falcons hold on
I still have NO idea why coaches continue this dumbass tactic. It doesn't work. It's proven NOT to work and yet they still do it. |

ROY was voted on at the end of the season. Results are announced before the SB. (Weren't you saying Luck all year long?) |

If they're gonna ice the kicker do it before they snap the ball. No reason to give them a practice kick first. |

I've always wondered if it is a penalty for the team to practice a FG when a timeout is called. |

BEAST
efff Russel Wilson and the ditch birds. |
Lol defining call for Brian Billick: "and this win legimitizes the Seattle Seahawks as the #1 seed and the team to beat."
Lol not quite, Billick. |

I was and I also said that of 3 whoever takes his team deeper into the playoffs should get it. Wilson impressed everyone by having two come from behind games (actually one, almost 2). |

Lol not quite, Billick.
He made quite a few ignorant statements during that game which is why I hope the Eagles hire him. |

Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Can Houston do it? I hope so
|
I don't think they can.

Well, Wilson was already the deepest into the playoffs before this game was played. My point is that a lot of people (myself included) were saying Wilson and Griffin were the 1/2 choice, with Wilson being a strong candidate, and through nearly all that debate you stuck to Luck, and at points were very dismissive of both of them. I also have no doubt that if Griffin had been healthy he would have put on a similar display(I think we would have won). Luck, I don't think so. |
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
I hope Houston will win the Super Bowl but Schaub will end up losing a game either this week or next week for them. Got the ball right in the endzone and can't convert
|
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Bottom line: Pete Carrol got out-coached. Not taking the points on a 4th and one, and not even using your best players on both the 3rd and 4th downs that ended up failing.
Hoping for a Tom Brady loss. |
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Good start for Houston. Hopefully JJ can keep dominating.

Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Houston dropping touchdowns, 3rd down conversions. You would think this team would come ready to play...smh

Patriots playing not to lose, like the Broncos, they both will have a similar result. |
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Houston's defense better get their head out of their asses.
|
Gronk is always hurt. Pats will win this game, Matt Schuab looks bad
|
Griffin has been tweeting all day. U can tell he's bored lol

Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Refs just gave Welker a huge gift with his push off. SHould have been a flag instead of a 47 yard completion. You'd think that NE had the better defense out there.

I did not think that was a push off, nice throw and nice catch. Texans defense has been terrible against good quarterbacks so this is not surprising. |

In the playoffs, I would rather have Flacco than Schuab. Man cannot win big games. |

I'll agree. |
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
It's so weird how much more I care about the playoffs when the Redskins aren't even in it to begin with. With them getting eliminated, I've lost nearly all interest. I'm sure I'll want to watch the Super Bowl though
|
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Same here SS. I just wanted the Ravens and Seahawks to get eliminated. 1 for 2 so far.
|
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Every time I watch J.J. Watt, I wish we had drafted him when we had the chance. He's the most complete D lineman I've seen in many years.
|
Re: Around the league divisional weekend
Seeing two teams today both run up the field and score FGs in about 30 seconds maginifies the stupidity of John Fox's call to take a knee at the end of the 1st half. With 30+ seconds and one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game, I'm still baffled as to why that idiot decided to take a knee. Now you see why Panther fans were happy as hell to get that man out of town. Should have saw the Panther forums yesterday....lol
