I wonder what they will do, they have worn white pants with the dark jerseys in the past when playing a team with yellow pants ie. Steelers, Packers. We could very well see white on white for the first time in a while.

Perhaps this has been brought up before and maybe I missed it but with all the uniform codes as far as the socks being pulled all the way up and the jersey tucked into the pants at all times with the league have representatives at all the stadiums every week policeing it, how is Orakpo getting away with the back pad flapping around all season?

I kind of warmed up to the helmet after awhile and thought it was pretty cool. I hate the helmet with the Hokie bird on it though...looks too cartoonish. I wouldn't mind seeing the camo helmets with the VT sign on it.

I almost looks like he cuts his jersey so that they little back flap part can stick out. I have no idea how he gets away with it, but then again, Cam Newton wore that UA visor for over two years before a fan brought it to the NFL's attention.

I had a friend over to watch the Redskins play one Sunday and we were talking about teams that should update their logos. The Cardinals came up as one that is not very intimidating that should get a make over. I know there is a fine line between going with something new and radical verses a traditional look like say the Bears "C", the Cowboys "Star" or the Raiders "skull" but the Cardinals should update that red bird and make it more "scary".

^Yeah, the Cards already made their bird look "tougher".

It's also one I would not stray from. The white helmet with the red bird on the side has been in the NFL since 1961 and through St. Louis, Phoenix and now Arizona. It's not known for winning but it is one of the classic looks of the league that I think should stay. The name Cardinals was previously in Chicago too, dating back to 1920.

There have been some crazy concepts, many using the Arizona flag's stripes on the helmet...I say no thanks.

Dolphins didn't look too bad last night. They won't wear the aqua jerseys much this year, usually going to be all white.

I guess it's growing on me but I still hate that you can't notice any prominent orange unless up close. Dropping the orange was the one big mistake to me. It seems to show up better in photos than on TV though. That aqua is BRIGHT too!

We might have discussed this before, but I thought I remember reading somewhere that they went back to their original color aqua. I like it and they never really had too much orange anyhow, so its not something that will be totally missed. I think the biggest change is the white face masks. At first I wasn't sure I like it, but it has grown on me.

Also, I dont know if you noticed, but it looked like the NFL finally caught up to Bowen and his "Illegal" face mask for having to many bars. Crappy pic but you can see it is a schutt mask with the "eyelids". Still wild but legal under the new rules.

I'm almost 100% positive that the uniform inspector completely misunderstood/didn't know/ignored the actual rules. Unless something has changed, there is nothing that says Hall can't wear a polo shirt after the game in the locker room
