It's his foot that concerns me.

"Garcon opted not to have surgery on his problematic toe because doctors couldn’t give him assurance that the procedure would correct the injury. He has worn inserts in his shoe to help support the toe and is expected to wear a custom-made shoe this coming season."

The custom-made shoe is hardly reassuring.

The shoe should at least give him better support and help protect it from being re-aggravating. Hopefully rest and rehab did him well too.

So RG III latest FB post talks about how elated he is and ready to move forward to his next set of goals.

Did somebody pass his team physical today?

If he is ready for training camp it is official he is a freak. Hopefully he can be a freak of health for the next 15 years of his career.

He might wear some sort of sleeve but I can't see him wearing a big bulky brace like he's had on this offseason or even the one he had at the end of last year.

Doesn't Tom Brady wear one after his knee surgery? He hasn't had any problems since but he obviously doesn't run like RG3. Luck wears one or at least wore one at Stanford and he ran really well and hes never had knee problems. If he can run well with a solid knee brace I see no reason why he wouldn't wear one. Majority of linemen wear it and it seems to significantly decrease the chance of a serious knee injury.

They read the deadspin article and made it sound like this was true.They also said its no surprise that people on baylor campus said they had an "open" arrangement.If this is true its going to be big news

Big III news maybe that he passed his team physical or his doctors exam. Hasn't been confirmed by a news source, just a post of his.

Good.I went back a couple of pages on this thread and didnt see anything.I dont read everything on here in the offseason.Those guys on the radio made it sound like breaking news that was true,had me fooled

I can't remember what thread it was discussed, but she came out and said it was a joke, or someone stole her phone, and then tried to get money from deadspin, and then some other random stupid stuff. Bottom line though is it is a nonissue.

I don't think it is disappointing news at all it shows the skins are taking the cautious road. I certainly hope RG doesn't play pre-season week 1 game; actually he can skip them all.

No news is good news as far as I am concerned.

Look, at the end of the season, the question was "How many games is he going to miss?"
By the draft it was, "Will he be able to start week 1?"
Now it is "Will he be ready to go day 1 of training camp?"

Regardless of his activity at camp, pretty f'ing amazing and, I believe, is going to just add to his legend.

Enjoy this time guys (and gals) ... 15 years from now, your kids will be asking "Dad, I know RGIII has won 8 straight SB's, 12 NFL MVP awards, and cured cancer but, really, was he always this amazing?" And you will think back this summer and say "Yes. Yes he was!"

I want the knee buckled up 100% and ready to go when he finally gets out there and takes hits. If that means he has to sit a while then so be it. Long term health of that knee is more important than anything at this point.

Yep, when it comes down to it, this is the most important. Plus its good to know we got a baller as a back up these days.

But I also agree RG3 will be pissed, but he needs to use it as motivation and recognize the overall plan.

One thing that will help for RG3 verses a guy like A. Peterson however is that even in camp QBs wear the yellow "don't touch me" jersey. A guy like Peterson basically gets hit every play as a RB. If RG3 gets hurt in camp it will be because he cut too hard and tore something or ran funny or something like that. It shouldn't be from a contact injury. If he passes his physical, I would probably let him practice, but just hold him out of preseason games (where the contact occurs)
