Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
Good throw.. good coverage.. Amerson just missed the ball
|
Hes thrown like 2-3 darts fir 20+ yards. That play looked like a miscommunication more than anything
I hope so. Twenty yards isnt a longball though. He hasnt completed a longball this year has he? |
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
Still missing a lot of tackles.
|
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
Nice play Hall but dont taunt Megatron
|
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread

They need more Pressure on Srtafford
|
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
We need to sack him though. Hammering does help, but damn they just march down the field at will. Can we sign any FA safeties?
|
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
Are we gonna try to score before the half? Hmmm.
|
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
Nice D Hall.

O hell no not Farceletta |
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
I didnt either. Lol. But its so painfully obvious that he cannot plant and throw the longball. I mean why did we draft KC if we are not going to use him? I dont think Griff or anybody will think he is losing his job as the qb of the future but he aint ready. Physically or mentally. That pick was the worst decision i have ever seen him make and that longball was horrifically short.
Lots invested in Griff. Everybody wants to see the returns I guess, even if they have to try to force it. |

I think we're riding the Griffin plane down until it crashes. I don't think anyone expects Griff to be pulled unless we're out of playoff contention or he really starts hurting us. |

Not true.. just because you sack him does not mean the hits are not bothering him |
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread

I sort of allude to that in my original post. Sacking him means he loses yardage. With our D as pathetic as it is, it only helps if we get them to go the opposite direction. A sack also carries with it the possibility of a turnover. A tit for tat scoring fest can only benefit the Lions, as they are solid on both sides of the ball. |
Well we get the ball first.

I reckon you're right. I reckon. |
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
Dallas is the team to beat now in the East. They are a solid team on both sides of the ball. I am not expecting any wins with Dallas this season, unless our D can get it together in short order.

Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
Does Griff have his confidence and game speed back yet? What do you think?
|
Such an important half coming up. Win here coupled with a winnable game in Oaktown and a bye week for all of them to get rite.
Cue the Pacino speech from Any Given Sunday... |

No. |
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
Bring a heart in the second half.
|
Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
Quick somebody tell Shannahan to bring in a hypnotist and make them thing they're down by 2 scores.
|
Come out screamin

Re: Lions vs Skins Game Day Thread
I feel like Griffin is having a pretty good game. He threw that bad INT trying to make a play but hes looking good so far. Way better then last week

Cue the Pacino speech from Any Given Sunday...
I view the Raiders game as tougher match-up than this game. McFadden and Pryor will give our Defense troubles all day if we cant tackle. |

No to both. Speed is slower. It's obvious he's playing paranoid and I don't watch for the technical stuff, but I'm not sure if he's planting off his front foot yet. Even with the RO plays we've called so far, dude looks like a shell of who he was last year. I'm unsure of if he's wearing the brace all year, but it'll be interesting to see what he's like when it comes off. |
