JGR81 is a Spurs fan? To the ignore list with him! :D

Actually, I'm not an absolute die-hard Rockets fan, simply because I find it hard to be so emotionally invested in more than one team, and the NFL/Redskins fairly easily beat out the NBA/Rockets. And so that being said, I do have respect for SA, and when they're not playing Houston, I actually root for them a little. Yeah, that's right; I'm a Rockets fan, and I sometimes root for the Spurs. Sue me. Anyway, at least we agree on both Dallas teams. :Smoker:

Edit: Oh, and as to your insult about Harden's beard...that is ignore list material. And I'm not even joking...
HeySirLK-----at least my Spurs are indeed a team you have to respect both on and off the court....pretty classy bunch!

I am a die hard Redskin fan.....and I consider the NBA/Spurs well a hobby---gotta find something to do in the offseason....:benched:

Glad we are both are equal sport Dallas team HATERS!

Then again it takes all kinds (NSFW - Language).

Granted I know it takes all kinds but I guess this goes to show that being rich, marrying a super model, and being a Super Bowl winning QB might not be as awesome as previously thought. Scientist are currently looking into the matter though some scholars suspect there's a chance that it could drop from an 11/10 to a simple 10/10.

The two guys who should never do a public Q&A (AMA) is David Stern or Roger Goodell. It's not going to end well. Some of the replies were brilliant though. My favorites:

@RunCMCC
#AskCommish I have a small business with about 300 employees. Any advice on busting their union?

@Steve_U_DS
Mr. Goodell - as a feckless multi-millionaire who shamelessly shills for billionaires, have you considered a run for Congress? #AskCommish

@mcurryfelidae07
Who's more immoral? An employer that covers up his workers getting brain trauma or an employer tolerating abusers but not gays? #AskCommish

@OurBlick
#AskCommish What's worse? Jimmy Haslam committing fraud or someone dunking over a goal post?

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam:

"Here in Cleveland, every where I go people know me, and I was out to dinner recently and a homeless person was out on the street, looked up at me and said 'Draft Manziel."

First, This could explain a lot about the Browns' problems at the QB position.

Second, I'm wondering if we have a homeless person advising our player personnel people. We need to stay current with NFL trends.

Third, I'd like to know if Haslam put a buck in the homeless man's tin cup. It would be tragic if Haslam is the kind of rich person who doesn't carry any currency.

^ I think that hatchet was buried long ago.

Probably just an uptight lawyer in the house. The team does have a valid point of him out there promoting himself using the team name and logo. Typically when players promote themselves it's a photoshopped image with no logos involved and the team name isn't mentioned.

Yeah I agree with you to some extent, but where is that line drawn?

I mean, often when their are speakers at events, or someone writing a book, or other such off-shoots from a person's previous career, they often refer to the companies they worked for in the past, and what they accomplished there. I don't know what the law is about this (do you need to ask permission first, can it be mentioned but just not used in ads, etc), but the NFL seems to get more uptight about their names and logos being used then other corporations.

How?

He used his talent exceptionally well, I mean there was alot of mud flung back and forth, people saying he couldn't learn schemes etc., but when it came down to it, he had a degenerative knee problem and that's what ended his career ultimately. If anything I feel bad for the guy that he got injured.

I guess the line is drawn at not using the team logo and name in your promotional items, like the flier he was using here.
