While I disagree with your view on his running of the country. I do agree with you on the economy doing well. I am concerned at the cost to our life sustaining processes of deregulation. Even if I became a millionaire I could never support Trump due to his racist and xenophobic rhetoric much like you could never support Bernie. So I guess me question is how can we reconcile our differences? I feel that, at least in political discourse, compromise is unacceptable while most Americans would be willing to compromise if it meant getting along with each other.
Donald Trump is not a racist. I've been to four Trump rallies not including the black leadership summit at the White House. Donald Trump and his supporters a very kind and welcoming to people of all races and backgrounds. We don't care about race. We care about issues. Yet it doesn't suprise me that you believe he's a racist. The media have done a good job of crafting false narratives to poison the American people against the president. The president has done an incredible job running country. Hes done a good job on trade, prison reform, illegal immigration, NATO, etc. Unlike other presidents that have came before him he's actually keeps his word. He's the best man for the job and everyone should vote for him. We don't have anything to reconcile on brother because we are not enemies. I don't define myself based on my politics, nor do i judge people based their politics. We might now share the same values but I still respect you as a person and an American. We shouldn't be worried about countries like or Iran or Russia. The biggest threat to peace in this country are overly emotional, mentally unstable leftists who sees everyone who doesn't share their self destructive beliefs as nazis and racists. These people are going to start a civil war. |
Who, what, where, when, why, was anyone protesting the death of Soleimani on the grounds of his innocence, aside from Soleimani supporters?
Because I have yet to see any Democrat say Soleimani didn't deserve to die because he was innocent. It's the timing of the act. It's the complete lack of evidence the Trump administration presented to Congress regarding the "imminent" terrorist attacks he was plotting. It's the fact that Trump is trying to distract from his impeachment proceedings, and it's totally working because everybody completely forgot about that shit as soon as he started escalating shit with Iran. It's the fact that Iran was abiding by terms of the treaty (by the word of our military, intelligence community, and the international inspectors) and Trump still decided to back out anyways, and then raise sanctions on Iran, forcing their response, and then escalating it yet again by killing a high-ranking leader. Literally one man was this close to finding a way past all the god damn safeguards our constitutional founders wrote to make sure a president needed the approval of Congress to go to war with someone. The only conclusion I can make is that Soleimani would still be alive today if he had some dirt on Biden to offer Trump. In fact, Trump would probably be singing his praises given his wide admiration for other despots.
When will you Democrats quit with all the phony outrage? None of you give a shit about Soleimani. You don't give shit about him oragiazing terror attacks or if he was planning on launching future attacks on Americans. This all about your hatred for Donald Trump. The impeachment hoax isn't going to get any traction in the Senate. No way are you going to get 67 votes to remove Trump from office. So why the fuck are they wasting the country's time? I watched the impeachment hearings in the House and it was a joke. They don't have any evidence the president committed a crime or did anything unethical. All they had were people giving their opinion on how they don't like how the president conducts business. I can't even call them witnesses because they didn't witness anything. As far as Biden is concerned, if didnt go off at the mouth bragging about how he used a billion dollars in tax payer money to force Ukraine to fire a prosecutor that happen to investigating a company his son worked for then the president wouldn't have anything to investigate. Biden did what the left is accusing Trump of doing. There is one major difference. There is no evidence Trump did a quid pro quo while we got Biden on video confessing to one. But of course the media and the democrat voters are going to pretend like it never happened. Trump was well within his right to have that entire situation investigated along with the whole Crowdstrike hoax. If they have evidence the Russians hacked the DNC then they need to produce it because thus far there hasn't been evidence that proves that to be true. |

[YT]R9YPYRaeTW0[/YT] Donald Trump isn't racist yet he.... 1) Own father was arrested at a KKK rally 2) Said there were good people on both sides at a white nationalist rally 3) Has retweeted several propaganda from known white nationalists. You know what, fuck it. https://www.vox.com/2016/7/25/12270880/donald-trump-racist-racism-history
1973: The US Department of Justice — under the Nixon administration, out of all administrations — sued the Trump Management Corporation for violating the Fair Housing Act. Federal officials found evidence that Trump had refused to rent to black tenants and lied to black applicants about whether apartments were available, among other accusations. Trump said the federal government was trying to get him to rent to welfare recipients. In the aftermath, he signed an agreement in 1975 agreeing not to discriminate to renters of color without admitting to discriminating before. 1980s: Kip Brown, a former employee at Trump’s Castle, accused another one of Trump’s businesses of discrimination. “When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor,” Brown said. “It was the eighties, I was a teenager, but I remember it: They put us all in the back.” 1988: In a commencement speech at Lehigh University, Trump spent much of his speech accusing countries like Japan of “stripping the United States of economic dignity.” This matches much of his current rhetoric on China. 1989: In a controversial case that’s been characterized as a modern-day lynching, four black teenagers and one Latino teenager — the “Central Park Five” — were accused of attacking and raping a jogger in New York City. Trump immediately took charge in the case, running an ad in local papers demanding, “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!” The teens’ convictions were later vacated after they spent seven to 13 years in prison, and the city paid $41 million in a settlement to the teens. But Trump in October 2016 said he still believes they’re guilty, despite the DNA evidence to the contrary. 1991: A book by John O’Donnell, former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, quoted Trump’s criticism of a black accountant: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.” Trump at first denied the remarks, but later said in a 1997 Playboy interview that “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.” 1992: The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino had to pay a $200,000 fine because it transferred black and women dealers off tables to accommodate a big-time gambler’s prejudices. 1993: In congressional testimony, Trump said that some Native American reservations operating casinos shouldn’t be allowed because “they don’t look like Indians to me.” 2000: In opposition to a casino proposed by the St. Regis Mohawk tribe, which he saw as a financial threat to his casinos in Atlantic City, Trump secretly ran a series of ads suggesting the tribe had a “record of criminal activity [that] is well documented.” 2004: In season two of The Apprentice, Trump fired Kevin Allen, a black contestant, for being overeducated. “You’re an unbelievably talented guy in terms of education, and you haven’t done anything,” Trump said on the show. “At some point you have to say, ‘That’s enough.’” 2005: Trump publicly pitched what was essentially The Apprentice: White People vs. Black People. He said he “wasn’t particularly happy” with the most recent season of his show, so he was considering “an idea that is fairly controversial — creating a team of successful African Americans versus a team of successful whites. Whether people like that idea or not, it is somewhat reflective of our very vicious world.” 2010: In 2010, there was a huge national controversy over the “Ground Zero Mosque” — a proposal to build a Muslim community center in Lower Manhattan, near the site of the 9/11 attacks. Trump opposed the project, calling it “insensitive,” and offered to buy out one of the investors in the project. On The Late Show With David Letterman, Trump argued, referring to Muslims, “Well, somebody’s blowing us up. Somebody’s blowing up buildings, and somebody’s doing lots of bad stuff.” 2011: Trump played a big role in pushing false rumors that Obama — the country’s first black president — was not born in the US. He even sent investigators to Hawaii to look into Obama’s birth certificate. Obama later released his birth certificate, calling Trump a ”carnival barker.” (The research has found a strong correlation between “birtherism,” as this conspiracy theory is called, and racism.) Trump has reportedly continued pushing this conspiracy theory in private. 2011: While Trump suggested that Obama wasn’t born in the US, he also argued that maybe Obama wasn’t a good enough student to have gotten into Columbia or Harvard Law School, and demanded Obama release his university transcripts. Trump claimed, “I heard he was a terrible student. Terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard?”
Keep telling yourself he's not a racist. We in reality land will know better. |

Let me point out specifically where they did IN FACT point out he was designated as a terrorist and so were his QUDs forces. Bush didn't designate him as one, it was Obama's administration that did, and Trump designated the QUDs forces.
In the West, he was seen as a clandestine force behind an Iranian campaign of international terrorism. He and other Iranian officials were designated as terrorists by the United States and Israel in 2011, accused of a plot to kill the ambassador of Saudi Arabia, one of Iran’s chief enemies in the region, in Washington. One way or the other it has no relevance on my life or any other black person. 1980s If this is true where are all the other black people who were also takem off the floor to validate his story? 1988: I dont see how this would be considered racist. But why exactly should I care? 1989: Wasnt these the same teens that confessed to gang raping a woman and bashing her head in? And? What is so racist about that? 1991: If Donald Trump did say that it was wrong and inappropriate but not racist. Personally, I think black people are lazy and I'm black. 1992: And? If a customer doesn't want black or women dealers then so be it. How does this make Donald Trump a racist? 1993: And? How was making that statement racist? Did he say he hated Native Americans or something? 2000: I'll ask the same question once again. How is that racist? 2004: That has nothing to do with racism. 2005: That would have been a good idea. What's so racist about that? 2010: I totally agree with Donald Trump on that. 2011: Asking to see Obama's birth certificate isn't a racial issue. He said the same thing about Ted Cruz.. 2011: If Obama was really born in this country why did he release a fake birth certificate? [YT]https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jk3KRxTfkLM&t=22s[/YT] It looks like Trump was right again. |

Put requirements for troop exercises, joint cross training, and troop levels in writing, include Israel, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt. We have closed primaries in Maryland and in 2016 I actually changed my affilitation just to vote in the Democratic primary for Bernie Sanders. He is the first and still only candidate that I have felt had the best intentions for the underdog in the U.S. economic game. That ship has sailed and the version we are seeing in 2020 is pushing too far left for most Americans. Trump has done some good things economically but I could never vote for him due to his racist and xenophobic tendencies. It just doesn't jive with me and I can't look past it. Now allow me to go over this list that you thing is evidence of racism. 1973: Words can not explain how much I dont give a shit whether or not this is true. Wasn't this around the time of segregation? Was this Donald Trump's company or his father's company?
Your spin is not of this world .You're as much black as I am a Skins fan . |
... He also has done some nasty things against the longevity and sustainability of our planet for short term economic gains.
This type quote drives me bonkers. The eco-warrior mentality that has spread through this nation is a plague in it's own right. I am not a climate change denier, because the climate has ALWAYS been changing. And doomsday has always been 15-30 years away. Do you know why it is always 15-30 years away, 2 main reasons 1 political and 1 factual The political is easy, if the world is doomed in 15 years we must elect the politicians now to prevent it. But when will us citizens, intelligent as they are, realize that for the pokiticians it isn't about saving the world, it is a out saving their power and scaring their base. It is a tried and true tactic of all politicians, left and right. The second reason doomsday is always 15-30 years away is because, and I know this will shock every liberal here, humans adapt and learn and progress WITHOUT government interference. Climate change, even "the planet will die" type is a glacially slow process versus innovation and human adaptability. Yes the planet's ecosystem will continue to change, and the pollution from technologically backward countries with large populations like India, China, and Russia will continue to damage it. The solution is not to sign feel good nanny state regulations but to encourage and strengthen innovation of proven technologies like nuclear and coal that produce energy in cost effective ways, and continue tryin to find new ways to make wind, solar, geo and other reuasable technologies cost effect on a kilowatt per dollar spent By the way, what drives much of the innovation, yup you guessed it - short term economic gains. |
Re: trump Impeachment...............
But back to impeachment
Looks like Pelosi will send the articles over this week. If people thought the Cavanaugh hearing was a spectacle just wait till this gets rolling. And god forbid Trump has the opportunity to appoint a SC justice during the impeachment trial. There would be a cosmic liberal meltdown as McConnell pushed the nominee forward. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
I could sit here and nitpick about how McConnell made up the rule about how Obama can't pick a SC nominee during his last year in office because they don't have the time to properly vet the nominee, and then turn around and speed rush Trump's nominees through, but we all know you guys are just making up the rules as you go. I could also point out how each senator is going to take an oath to judge the impeachment trial impartially, yet McConnell and Graham have both already said they will be acting as the President's defense (and so will the rest of the Republican majority, despite the Senate oath to act as the jury). Republicans have literally prioritized protecting the president above the Constitution of the United States of America (you know, that holy document that allows you the right to bear arms). In case you forgot:
Form of oath to be administered to the members of the Senate sitting in the trial of impeachments: I solemnly swear (or affirm, as the case may be,) that in all things appertaining to the trial of the impeachment of , now pending, I will do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws: so help me God.
https://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/history/resources/pdf/1_1868ImpeachmentRules.pdf I could also point out how every single impeachment trial in the Senate has called witnesses, yet your leaders have already said they won't call any witnesses or listen to new evidence. I could also point out how the entire Republican argument has always gone back to Trump's defense that this is a sham, without debating any of the 8 witnesses who testified in front of the house under penalty of perjury. Your entire argument literally rests on the theory that anyone who hates Trump is biased and therefore is an unreliable witness. I could also point out how Trump was not willing to testify, or let anyone from the executive office testify in front of the House in defense of their actions. In any court of law this would all be major red flags. Trump gets to claim executive privilege though. Congratulations, you've succesfully made the position of POTUS entirely above the law. Hope that double standard applies with the next Democratic president. I could also point out how Republicans have succesfully introduced partisanship to every branch of gov't, from Congress, from the judiciary system, to the highest court of the land, to the intelligence community, to the law enforcement community, all the way down to the state and county level with gerrymandering. Enjoy your day gents, because it certainly won't last forever. I just hope we get to play by the same rules you have introduced. Winning is the name of the game, even at the expense of half of America. |

McConnell isn't going to let the Senate become a shit show like the House would be even though he's going to rig the trail like he said he would. |

If you are talking about things such as oil reserves wil;l be exhausted in 40-60 years. Well of course that is going to fluctuate we, in the scientific field, cannot estimate oil reserves based on future technology that currently doesn't exist that is highly disingenuous and biased. Seconmdly you cannot seriously believe that government regulation has not improved the technology that you have just been discussing. If so you seriously need to go back into the attic and crack open the U.S. history and world history textbooks you should have read in high school. Regulations lead to improved technology that we could then share with developing countries and prevent them from having to spend valuable dollars on research and design. Nobody is suggesting field good "nanny" state regulations you sir are fear mongoring no more no less. Instead he has been weakening the four most important human health legislations in the Clean Air, Clean Water, Safe Drinking Water and Endangered Species Acts. If regulationg our national common resources such as air, water and genetric resources such as biodiversity shouldn't be priority number 2 behind national safety I don't know what the poibnt of a federal government is. As for your last statement that is only true when the current methodology becomes unprofitable. If a government had the foresight to you know decide that hospitilization due to respiratory illness on orange, red and purple air quality days should be paid for by those that are responsible for the air quality you do see innovation, but it comes from ecomic gain driven by regulation. |
