Rookie season with a shitty QB, wait till this year, you'll be surprised. |

I'm just glad they have addressed the most glaring need this offseason - the O-line, with Gates, Wylie, Stromberg, Daniels - so far.

Still no guarantee, and Logan Thomas is basically done as well, and as we know EB loves his TEs |

Fastest olineman in the draft and it wasn’t a reach. Will replace Norwell at some point. Henry another good pick. |

Henry another good pick.
Norwell was a dumb as fuck signing. KJ Henry is a great pick. |
Re: NFL Draft Thread
Interesting that they traded up for Henry, must really like him. 5 star recruit and led Clemson in QB pressures last year. Who falls off of the roster to make room?
|
Re: NFL Draft Thread
Rams with the reach of the draft. Oh my God. Bennett would most certainly have been there until at least the 7th round. That is an absolutely wasted pick.
A reach???? Many seem not to believe in reaches. |
You're fine KI. I know you're being a smartass, and that's cool.
I'm not going to get into the game of 'this guy should have gone here' etc... My point all along has been none of us know 1/100th of the information RR and Company has, nor do we have the expertise to evaluate any of these picks. You do you man... I'll give my evaluation of all these picks this time next year.
Player evaluations will all Be solid. I like all these guys. But reaching is impossible to evaluate because maybe someone was taking Martin or Stromberg early too. Maybe they weren’t. Based on the boards we can see they were reaches. Does not mean they won’t produce. Just means we probably left talent on the table. Today has been our best day so far. Daniels was a great pick. So was Henry. |

5 star recruit, just coming into his own. In 2022 as a fifth-year senior Henry logged playing time in 13 games and a total of 607 snaps for the Tigers. He also added 30 tackles, 11 assists, and 21 stops. As a pass rusher, he tallied a huge 50 total pressures, which included 31 QB hurries, 14 QB hits, and 5 sacks on the season. |

Toney was suspended indefinitely so he's gonna replace him immediately |

Essentially, Shaka already cut himself by getting suspended for gambling. |

Apparently Kerrigan coached Henry in the Senior bowl this year, must have given a glowing review

Exactly |
Re: NFL Draft Thread
Releasing Rouiller, Norwell, and Fuller would clear 15 million in cap space. They gone'.

No kidding? That is an endorsement to be valued. |
Re: NFL Draft Thread
Even assuming Toney gets cut, probably a safe assumption, with Henry they have 6 DE and 5 DT, something gotta give there I think.

More than that I would think if you do Norwell and Roullier as post June 1st. If you add in Dantzler and Lucas you could keep Fuller and still clear $15m. Having a veteran in the DB room would be very useful. |

I already asked you nicely to not be cutting my favorite Fuller. The other two can go. |

Depends on if they think Rouiller can stay on the field this season. He is the best interior lineman we have. |

You would think, but Ron seems convinced that Gates is starting at centre. I would much prefer to have a healthy Roullier starting at C as I am sure most here would. Ron considers Gates a starter per his news conferences and when asked if Gates would start at G he shook his head so... I do wonder whether Roullier is considering retiring after the last two injuries, maybe Ron knows this |

Yeah, it's the injuries not the talent. But it's also the money. |
Re: NFL Draft Thread
I already asked you nicely to not be cutting my favorite Fuller. The other two can go.
Lol. My bad. I don't dislike Fuller but he would save 8.5 million by himself. You can sign multiple guys with that. |

I would not release Fuller. Norwell hell yes. Roullier too but mainly Norwell. |

JSW and Toohill are also FA next year. |

There are a couple other throw aways we have at d end. Only backup i would absolutely keep is Toohill and Obada. I think Henry is going to see a lot of time this year. |

Add Lucas to the list. |

Young Sweat Smith-Williams Toohill Obada Henry You want to throw away who? |

Norwell is an absolute lock to be released. I think Fuller will be. I could be wrong. And I'm not against him staying. Especially since Juste gets hurt all the time. But 8.5 million can go a long way towards patching 2 or 3 other holes. |
