You are assuming once again that I do not have muscle tone. I am not a skinny little punk. Think about other guys who are 5'11" and weigh 185-205. In fact look at a couple of NFL rosters and let me know. I swear if you say kicker its on!
Noooo, that wasn't directed at you at all. I was just referring to me...I carried a lot of muscles with me which made it impossible for me to break that 5 minute mile...that's my only point. Think about that for a second...I was 210-215 and 5'10"...so I was 1 inch shorter than you but a good 30 pounds more...trust me when i say it's tougher to carry that extra muscle when you're running a mile. I was a big guy. |

Well guys this has been fun but it is time for me to hit the hay. I gotta get up at 8 to do some errands.

Re: The Never Ending Thread
Two different types of running. A 4.45 is an outstanding 40 time btw. But I ran better @100 meters. Who knows what it would have become in college. If you don't use it you loose it. I joined the Army as a natural sprinter. It took me a year to learn how to run 2 miles at that pace. After that I couldn't sprint as fast anymore. There are different types of speed. Nowadays I cannot do either well anymore. Bad Left knee.
Yes, I understand that. I just thought you'd be quicker. The majority of mine were in the 5.35-5.39 area, but my best was 5.29. I completely understand that 4.45 is fast. Not dogging on it at all. It's impressive if you ask me. |

I am now...I just wish I wasn't "AS BIG" as I am. I want to get back down to around 220-230. |

Yeah, I completely understand that...some people need that extra push of competition to get faster. We had a guy like that on our team...he ran around a 4.5ish, but I swear we'd be neck and neck when we raced. He was a lot faster than his numbers gave him credit for. I think it has a lot to do with burst. I worked on my legs a lot (especially being an ex soccer player) so I could get off the line very fast, some can't. It has nothing to do with actual football game type situations. |

Well, I hit puberty at a young age...seriously been shaving since I was 12...very annoying! So I developed and became thick very quickly. |
I hardly have the time to volunteer for anything unfortunately. The little time I do get I actually spend with young children (like elementary school) teching them arts and crafts, games, etc.
I wasn't trying to blow you off I just got caught up in the other conversation. It's cool that you like to do that. As I have said before, I want to coach high school football. I am assisting as a Pop Warner coach this upcomming season. I love kids too. I would just prefer to teach them at the high school age. If all goes well I will probably be able to teach computers at Leonardtown Tech center one of these days. I have to finish school and get my paper right before I take a pay cut like that though, but its what I want to really do. |

So how's it going tonight. (FYI, that is a blanket statement for everyone here and anyone that will show up later.) |
What's wrong?
I never check my myspace page, but I decided to tonight. So I get a message from a "Courtney". I don't know a Courtney, so I was going to delete it. However, something told me to open it. It was a message from my long lost best friend from high school, Kristy. She used her daughter's account to track me down. Problem is, she didn't leave me any contact info and her daughter's account is set to private. I sent a friend request and I pray her daughter has enough sense to approve my request. Otherwise I'm screwed. I would really love to talk to Kristy. :( |

How long ago was the message to you? |
Re: The Never Ending Thread
Hey guys, LB dont worry about it you will get in touch with her.

She sent it last night. My user name is my real name, so maybe Courtney will recognize it when she sees the request. Say a prayer. |

I wouldn't count on it right away, but have faith. These things tend to sort themselves out. |
Hey guys, LB dont worry about it you will get intouch with her.
I hope you're right. She was the best friend I ever had. I felt like I lost a part of myself when we lost touch. I don't make friends easily and rarely completely trust anyone. She was the only person I could ever really be myself around, you know? I've never had another friend like her since. |
Re: The Never Ending Thread
By the way LB, pass is up. Did your brother let you kiss her too. The not so sexy drink for the not so sexy woman. It is just a joke; I find you to be a very sexy woman.

Re: The Never Ending Thread
Wow, quite the pissing match going on in the "W" thread. Also, if there's anyone else around here who is tired of thread after thread about cookers, raise your hand.

Kiss her? I don't remember any lesbian conversations. Nice save there at the end. Thank you for the compliment. |
