Or you can move to Washington D.C. and talk politics with Warpath members face to face.

Very good point.
My personal favorite, and what I'm pulling for the most is Denver. But I won't turn down an opportunity in any of those other places.

Really you guys aren't the only one...I just get caught up in it. It's like an addiction. Kinda like SS has to defend Stewart.

I poke my head and drop a couple of lines in there, but I really don't have the energy to keep up with crazyhorse.

I'll be honest, I'm too lazy to read those long ass paragraphs. Theres a pretty good reason why I switched away from poli sci as my first major.

That's kind of why the political threads don't work for me on here, unless I'm on some kind of stimulant.

I really can't give all there energy to it, and that's really what has to happen for me to legitimately take someone seriously in politics.

Tony is my Hero :) No seriously though, it's tough for me to have NASCAR debates with you guys. And this may come across as condescending but it's not meant to be at all, it's just that the fact is you guys don't get (I assume) the same day to day access to that world that I do. So it's not a "level playing field" for lack of a better word.

I enjoy the debates though, I just have to reminded myself of the differences sometimes

Seriously though, Hamlin isn't all he's cracked up to be.

So uh, how about those Redskins? Training camp is about to begin and I am anxious to see what our offense looks like after another year under Saunders. I also wonder how the Defense is going to respond with the additions of Smoot and Fletcher.

While I absolutely agree with you, you are too close to the situation to look at it objectively. You would make a comment like, well that's not tony, he's a good guy. OK, we're sure you know him, but we just watched what he did on the race track, which is pretty much all we care about.
Look at Barry Bonds fans...come on, he is dirt...he is scum on dirt, and he still has millions of fans...why? Cause he does a lot of stuff on the field (even if it is pharmacudically enduced). We don't care about who they are off the field in most cases...I know I don't. You let that sway yourself to being a fan. I don't want to know my teams or people I follow, cause the more you know, the more they can let you down. I just want to be a distant fan. I don't mean to sound negative, because you have the ability to know these people outside of their medium, and that's a great thing, but that makes you closer than the average bear.
Hamlin is having a great season though...or do you mean personally?

You're just wanting to change the subject, and I don't blame you.

Well from what I have read, my biggest concern (Campbell) has spent a lot of his free time this offseason learning the system better and hanging out at Redskins park. I like that...and we need that. We need him to get his comp% around 60% and throw for 20-24 td's with no more than 13 or 14 ints. He has the potential in this system to do even better, he just needs to be ready.

Did Campbell, Moss, ARE, Cooley and B Lloyd go down to Miami like they were wanting to to play catch with each other.

I have no clue...I didn't even realize that was a possibility. Hope they did. The reason that Harrison is so good with Manning (besides the oodles of talent) is because they work with each other all the time.

I hear what you're saying. It's one reason why I was glad I was assigned motorsports because I wasn't as big a fan as say NFL. I mean, my world was practically shattered when I got to know my childhood hero Darrell Green and found out he's not as great a person off camera as he is on. But I don't allow that to take away from the fact that he brought me some awesome memories on the field. I'll never forget that.

The times I've met Hamlin he was very aloof and really wanted nothing to do with me. Others have told me it's that he's really arrogant. There is also a prevailing sentiment in the garages that Gibbs has put the best crew team with him because he depends on his team much more than the rest of the top drivers because he's not good enough without them. I don't know if that's true but we did see how he struggled earlier this year. I also know though that he belittles his crew team a lot. Some say it's just because he's so competitive and he wants to win so badly. Well fine, but so does everyone else out there. They could all learn from Jeff Burton quite honestly.

Unfortunately I can believe it. Kristy had everything going for her in HS. We played volleyball together our freshman and sophomore years and then she met the most worthless piece of crap, quit school and married him two years later. He's the father of her kids and her life took a very different turn because of him. He's even been in my jail a couple of times. I'm not sure what's going on, but if she's reaching out then I'll do what I can to help. However, I'm not a person who helps someone unless they're willing to help themselves. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

Well, I don't have a teaching certificate, but I do have a master's degree. That is apparently gold to school systems, and they can give me a 3-5 year waiver til I get it. All the while I'd be making around 40k and only working 9 months out of the year. What's not to love there? I am a huge jock, so doing PE is right up my alley.
So why would you be envious.

I am only applying...I figure until you try, you won't achieve. I must at least try, at worst they can say no.
