You guys watching Taboo? I'm kinda struggling to get into it. If Hardy wasn't in it I probably would have given up already.

What Shows Are You Watching?
I'm almost done with season one, I like it but it's not grabbing me where I want to binge on it. I've been watching maybe one episode a week.
Exactly. Just ok. I think I Wagner Moura is excellent as Pablo. His character was probably the best thing about it.
Edit: at first I did not think Paulina Gaitan was that pretty but she really grew on me. Would love to put her in the boob thread. [emoji106]

If any of you have Amazon, I highly recommend "Sneaky Pete". Written in part by Brian Cranston and he has a good role in the series. Just watched all of season 1 in about 4 nights. Thought it was very well written.

Big Little Lies on HBO is very good.

I was a little disappointed...I really don't like that lead actor.

I thought "The OA" on Netflix was much better than Stranger Things. I know some who were comparing the 2. The OA had the most unorthodox entry episodes for a drama that I can remember...very good sequences before getting the story really going. Thought it was borderline brilliant the way the story unfolded.

Re: What Shows Are You Watching?

Currently right now, the wife and I have been watching:

1. Blind Spot
2. 24:Legacy
3. Big Bang Theory
4. New Girl
5. The Flash
6. Scorpion
7. Supergirl
8. Designated Survivor

On Netflix, we've watched Stranger Things, Fuller House, The Gilmore Girls reunion mini-series, Voltron (Me), and Daredevil (me). Oh, forgot, Jessica Jones.

We like our comedy sitcoms, but we also tend to gravitate toward super hero shows or shows about extraordinary individuals. I'm a huge 24 fan, and I'm still getting used to the idea of 24 without Jack Bauer. It's a good, entertaining show, but honestly, I miss the old cast - especially Jack, Chloe, Tony, and Bill. At least Tony Almeida is coming back.

It's keeping my attention! I think they've done a good job with it. I'll admit, I'm psyched to see Tony Almeida coming back, but I fear they'll kill his character off. Out of the old cast, my favorites are Jack Bauer, Chole O'Brien, and Tony Almeida. With shout outs to Bill Buchanan!

But, I think Eric Carter is a pretty good lead in this version. He's young, so he's probably going to need to "grow" into the role, but I think it has every opportunity to succeed if people give it a chance. There are a lot of 24 fans who are still upset that Jack Bauer isn't a part of it though.

Currently going through the Wire for the first time and it is absolutely fantastic. Never thought another show would reach Breaking Bad level but this one comes close. So well written, amazing actors throughout. Bubbles is such a great character, as are Carcetti, Omar.. Major Valchek is a guy I wish played a bigger role, love him too. On season 4 righ now...

I really enjoyed the Wire. I think being so close to Baltimore helped out.

Just started "Goliath" - thanks to the poster who recommended it.

The Wire only gets better the second time around too. Yeah it's right up there with Breaking Bad for my favorite of all time.

The Keepers...powerful. Extremely disturbing to hear how the Catholic Church along with typical corrupt Baltimore government, police and inept DA, lied, covered up and enabled years of child abuse. It's tough hear how religious institutions just allowed this behavior.
