It is so absurd. It shouldn't even be legal. (probably isn't we just have corporations exploit loopholes that legislatures intentionally put in there so they get rich)
And the rich people that run/profit off of them. Guarantee hedge funds, etc., also contribute to having the "laws" written as they are. No one in a position of power does anything besides benefitting themselves 1st, then if a result of that is some regular people benefit, that's just an added bonus they can lie about like it was done on purpose. Until the tax code is simplified and the federal government has to have a balanced budget, the whole country is fucked, and eventually it will be too late to recover. And I put this on politicians the most. They are just dirty fucking under the table businessman/businesswoman. |

Well, she is right and as much as lefties hate it that boat (him being considered a Great President) has sailed. Interesting thing I've discovered is a small part of the most cultish part of MAGA hates him as much as the extreme left. |

Are you going the 20th to the Bigly party?
My mental health is doing much better now that I limit my access to this political cesspool. Something tells me you will be doing fantastic even when cereal hits $10/box and gas goes to $6/gal. As long as your people run the show you're happy to pay any price. |

That isn't very informative, and lets' face it your word doesn't hold much water in this forum. So, can you please quote and repost what he posted that you are referring to? |

My word here is fine if you don't accept it I don't give a shit. I would repost but the search function doesn't work. The fact he is MAGA and you don't think MAGA's are racist says more about you then it does about me. |

still think G1 should be banned and calling someone a racist is a good reason to do it.

I'll vouch for G1. Occasionally he gets upset and starts insulting people but I feel like that's par for the course for this particular forum. In the football forum he's as respectable as any other opposing team fan that likes to chat here. |

U.S. flags have been flying at half-staff at all federal properties including the Capitol since Dec. 29, when President Joe Biden ordered the measure of respect following Carter's death for 30 days ‒ the prescribed federal timeframe for lowering flags after a president's death since 1954. Trump will be sworn in as the 47th president on Jan. 20, which falls within the 30-day window. |

Damn Trump got Trudeau too?
Obama, Clinton, Biden, Harris and now Trudeau. RIP Justin Castro “Well, now it is later, and rising crime, urban disorder, sunken prosperity and flat-lining per-capita GDP are the results. Can’t find a decent apartment for what you earn? Scrambling to find a job while foreign workers fill restaurants, shops and IT offices? These aren’t accidents; they’re the result of human decisions exercised in 2015, 2019 and 2021.” Policy failures |

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
IMO it's more the Candidates then it is the Politics. Republicans will learn.
Oh, it's most definitely the politics given the change in voting patterns of traditional Democratic groups. Native Americans , traditionally one of the strongest Dem voting blocks completely flipped and Dems lost a lot more than usual among black and Hispanic voters. This was mostly based on economic choices but that doesn't explain why NAs went much further. What do you think the Dems did to piss off NAs over above all other groups? (I'm convinced it was the culture war actions over the last 5 years that did that - NAs were basically told by non-NA cultural Warriors to sit down and shut-up, that they knew what was good for them and then those warriors proceeded to destroy much of what NAs liked, ostensibly on behalf of NAs). |
