New subject... What are your plans for the 4th?

We will be grilling out, swimming in the pool and maybe going to the park to see some fireworks. Some of my family will be heading to my mom's lakehouse, but I try to avoid going down there on the 4th. Too dang crowded.

Oddly enough, this little town has a great fireworks display...so we'll cook out and watch the fireworks.

NC sucks though. Unless you have a permit, the projectiles can't go over 8ft high. We have to buy them in SC and then sneak them back across the border.

They do have the big displays at the city parks, but Joe Shmoe down the street can't set off fireworks in his backyard that go over 8ft high. Vendors aren't allowed to sell them here. They might as well just sell us a big pack of sparklers. We have to get the good stuff from SC. If we do shoot off the big ones, we have to scatter when the cops show up.
