I wouldn't mind bringing him in on a short term deal. Given his age though I wouldn't want to rely on him for more than a couple seasons.

Slim chance of his coming here. Both sides have too many reasons to see it as not a good fit. It would probably cost $5-6MM per year for 2 or 3 years to make it happen. |

Considering most people's rosters are basically set and cap accounted for, I think he'll be hard pressed to find any takers with that kind of salary range. |

True, but a player of this caliber doesn't usually hit the market this late...he will have a handful of suitors. I think Mathis is a top 10 guard in the league, maybe top 5. I would pass, but keim and mort said skins may have a little interest. |
