Two plead guilty to trafficking Ashley Biden's diary, property Interesting, I had heard this story earlier in the year. So now that they have plead guilty, that concludes that the diary and it’s contents are in fact Ashley Biden’s and are legit? Will this be covered up like the Hunter Biden laptop too? Which in fact is authentic and never a Russian propaganda? |
If organized religion wants to keep flexing their influence into politics, let them pay taxes. The Catholic Church is one of the wealthiest organizations in the world and they don't exactly have a very transparent financial track record. And guess what, the Vatican has investments in some of the biggest companies in the world. Let's not pretend their hands are clean.
503(c) organizations whether its a church, temple, mosque etc overwhelming provide services for the needy. Theres been exactly one religious organization that had its designation pulled and thats bc it paid for ads saying dont vote for Bill Clinton because hes the devil. Seems theres a lot of politics from the pulpit (both sides) but that doesnt bother me. Evangelicals want to flock to a preacher touting Invermectin and to not get the vaccine and that liberals are the devil and indoctrinating the youth with perversion blah blah blah .. go ahead. Fill that pew with like minded people .. do your thing. If far right intellectuals want to gather and circle jerk to trump ... go for it. spend those Sundays complaining about liberals being whiny and snow flakes. |

The government's Pandemic Response Accountability Committee found that 97 percent of PPP loans were used to help fund payroll. The average amount of PPP loan forgiveness was $72,500.
The authors, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor David Autor and economists from the Federal Reserve, found that PPP saved 1.98 million and 3 million years of employment over 14 months. The study was conducted using data from payroll software provider ADP and the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The economists estimated that $115 billion to $175 billion in PPP loans went toward paychecks, meaning that only 23% to 34% of PPP funds went directly to workers who would otherwise have lost jobs. Where did the rest go? The remaining 66% to 77% went to business owners and stakeholders, including shareholders, creditors, and suppliers. The picture gets more stark when the authors traced how PPP dollars flowed to households. The study estimated that $365.9 billion, or 72%, of the PPP dollars ultimately flowed to the top-fifth of high-earners, who make up a disproportionate amount of the country's income and business owners. The bottom quintile got $13.2 billion, or 2.6% of the $510 billion. The authors also noted that PPP's per dollar boost to GDP was 0.36, according to the Congressional Budget Office, versus 0.60 and 0.67 for stimulus checks and enhanced unemployment insurance checks. https://www.businessinsider.com/majority-ppp-loans-went-to-business-owners-high-earning-households-2022-1 I can say from first hand ... businesses with strong existing bank relations got moved up as priority. A certain bank takes my boss golfing and dinners etc ... guess who got priority treatment? Guess who got PPP money for payroll that we were going to pay anyway? There was a small cafe in our office building, owner didnt know what to do, no real bank connections. Guess who didnt get a PPP? Guess who went out of business? ----- IMO the PPP isnt a R vs D issue. It was a rushed band aid during a sudden unprecedented time in this Country. Whether it was an R or D in the White House, I think the result would be the same. Now ... im sure fox news et al would be screaming that it was a huge failure, giving money to the elite and big business at the expense of farmers and hard workers, how Biden's businesses and families recd large loans and how Biden's press secretary's family recd 2 million. But it was an R ... so the right isnt beating that drum. |

A little puzzled by the WH focus on Paycheck Protection Program as an analog to student loan forgiveness since the former was actually implemented through *legislation in Congress*.

Would be great if presidents and their parties didnt pass public policy through executive orders or reconciliation or through the political SCOTUS. both sides if you cant get 60 senators to say "yes", maybe negotiate/work together? but in reality votes now are party line votes. This country is fucked. |

Bernie Sanders @SenSanders I hear Republicans complaining about $20,000 in student debt forgiveness. Funny, I didn't hear those complaints when Trump declared bankruptcy 6 times & had $287 million in loans forgiven by big banks. The GOP l-o-v-e-s socialism for the rich, rugged individualism for the rest. |

As someone who saw tax returns when underwriting years ago…this will certainly benefit folks earning up in the 4 maybe 3 percent of top income. Those folks know how to not show income for the tax man. |

@SenSanders I hear Republicans complaining about $20,000 in student debt forgiveness. ....
And Dems too. Problem is student loan forgiveness is the same type of action that caused education to get so expensive (Government money/loan guarantees flooding the system). It helps graduates with current loans but will accelerate costs for education, thus screwing current and future students. Well it was found in a halfway house left behind when she was in recovery. Within the diary deals with her drug abuse and her sex addiction…but the supposed passages about taking showers when she was 13 with her dad and how that affected her. Now, the NYT has said to have authenticated the dairy and now someone has been prosecuted which confirms the validity. But if Joe Biden did shower with his 13 daughter which lead to her trauma…you think that’s a story worth reporting? It most likely will be covered up with the help the of the media…just like Hunter laptop…just like the sexual assault allegations against Biden during the campaign. Would you expect the same treatment if this was the Trump family? Of course not because the media purposely corrupt as well as other institutions. |
