If you're one of these teams why aren't they on the phone with Vick's agent?
1. SF I'm still amazed that Shawn Hill has started games in the NFL. Smith is a bigger bust than Russell.
2. Clev......Anderson and Quinn, nothing more needs to be said
3. Oakland....Russell is looking like a HUGE bust, not that he has a chance in Oak
4. Jacksonville...who backs up Garrard?
5. Carolina....who backs up Delhomme?

I mean, you have to weigh the positives (the talent) with the negatives (pretty much everything else). Picking up Vick for the reasons you describe would be the trademark of a bad organization.

Which is not to say that there aren't good situations for Michael Vick, just that, if you are the one of the first three teams on your list, you'd like to at least see what you have in Smith/Russell/Quinn first.

Some would say that a player or two of those have already busted, but to act like Vick is a better option, that's just being hypocritical. Don't replace your homegrown unproven talent with an external unproven talent that happens to be a felon.

Now if you are Pittsburgh, New England, or Carolina, be my guest. If you think you have a role for Vick, give him a shot. But don't take any of his crap trying to chase some mythical goal.

If his ability is anywhere on the map of where it was when he left, how would it hurt the team?

This guy is going to be a choir boy when he is signed.

I almost wish he would tell the first reporter, "Yes, I killed some dogs and I am sorry about that but there are people playing in this league who didn't miss a game after participating in the killing of human beings. Why don't you go harass them".

This whole thing is a farce.

IF...his ability hasn't been altered while shacking up with "Bubba" in a federal prison the last 2-years, then sure it could help our team...hell, anyone's team for that matter. I just don't think the 'Skins need anymore QB drama after all the overtures they made to other QB's earlier this year.

And I completely agree with your comment about the fact that Vick has served time for killing dogs (which is deplorable) while other NFL players have killed humans but continue to walk the street and playing fields free. Just doesn't make sense.

Just pointing out the obvious....

TC is 37 yo.
MV is 29 yo.

Just saying. To be honest I would like to see JC, CB, and Daniels. but I guess there has to be someone who is considerd a vetran .....besides JC even if he has several yrs under his belt.

I really don't have a problem with adding Vick. I think he'll end up in New England, Buffalo, San Francisco, Denver or Washington. Will the UFL fold now?

If we sign Vick than Collins is out. Vick will be use on special plays only such as short yardage and goal line situations. He is always a threat to run as well as throw. This would be a good move for insurance purposes and give our opponets more to prepare for. Jason is our future but Vick would give us a added dimension.

Vick's biggeest problem is the postition he plays. If he was a RB, WR or LB I think he'd have teams lined up to sign but he's a QB and teams build themselves around their QB. I just dont see how Vick improves any team at QB.
