Ok honestly I got almost no sleep last night and can't think all that straight and feeling a bit fragile...this thread is April Fool's right? The Warpath is like my second home and I don't wanna see it foreclosed upon :(

I really can't believe how gullible some people are. I find it pretty incredible that any regular members of this site actually took this thread seriously.

And why is my VIP status gone? My annual $20 was billed today on PayPal.

It's not even the banner I really care about. It's not having to see the ads. That's the best perk IMO. Well, that and helping Matty with $$ to help maintain the site. I've been around here for about almost 4 years and I plan on being here for many more years. I've been VIP pretty much the entire time. 2 years ago I thought about just paying the $99 and having the lifetime VIP, but I figured if I just shell out $20/yr the entire time I'm a member, that will overall help the site out with more $ than a one-time $99.

I know that there are still bugs in vbulletin as far as usergroup permissions on renewals.. at least in the 3.8.X series, shoot Matty a PM he can set your permissions/usergroup

Off topic taken away? People have been posting there all day. Also, apparently from what I read the colors/banner/graphics were changed for a while today as part of April fools? Somehow I didn't see that. The only joke that's on me is paying for VIP status and not getting it. Cough cough Matty cough... ;)

That layout from earlier in the day was one of the ugliest things I've ever seen, and I've seen some horrible stuff. Please don't ever do that again. One things for sure, Sumo is now officially underappreciated.

I know this may come as a shock, but we believe these changes are for the greater good of the site, and once you see who the partnership is with and the content we'll be able to provide as a result, you'll be more than pleased.
