Not much we can do about his contract now though except hope he begins to live up to it.

Re: Return Of Lavar
man, I blink and theres another 30 posts that I have to go back and read on this thread...lol.
This thread reminds me of some of the first threads that I started as a member of this board. Almost all of which were about the canes, and which one we should draft. I definitly feel like I had more to say on that subject that this one |
Re: Return Of Lavar
And BigSKINBauer. You did say that LaVar would have won 3 games had he been playing for us. Don't deny it, just stop making claims you can't defend in a last ditch effort to defend your failing point.
Take your own advise and read the post, I never said it someother guy i did I was just telling my point saying that I DIDN"T SAY IT, someone else did so that u or offsiss would go all loco on me! GEEEEEEEZ!!! I don't check up 1 day and this! |
Re: Return Of Lavar
And who did we have at the time of Lavaars signning at linebacker? Jesse Armstead and Jermiah Trotter. We go rid of old dead wood that was costing us a ton of cash. We spent more cash on the linebackers Arrington 1st then Barrow and Washington. 2 of the 3 were out with injuries and we had back ups step up. They did not know the backups would play above themselves and they did not know that 2 years ago when they resigned Lavaar.
So the question remains would we be a better football team with Lavaar? Character, athletic ability, and dominance as a football player clearly wins. He is better then any other backer out there.
COULDN"T HAVE SAID BETTER MY SELF CRT3! |
Re: Return Of Lavar
trotter wasn't really a deadwood

No need to shout and Daseal I think you're confusing BigSKIN with Bertoskin: http://www.thewarpath.net/showpost.php?p=64400&postcount=93 |
Re: Return Of Lavar
Hey he can shout especially when he is praising me. THANKS!!!
Trotter was deadwood. Constantly out of position in this particular scheme that we ran with Lewis then Edwards. He consistenly missed tackles. In fact I would say that Armstead out performed Trotter in both years. In Philly they zone blitz alot more and Trotter seems to be always on the run blitz and pass blitz. |
Re: Return Of Lavar
Ah, you're right. Sorry Bigskinbauer. Got you confused with someone else.
We'll see how LaVar plays this year. I think we'll pick this discussion up again next year with a better barometer. |
Re: Return Of Lavar
its all good
|
Re: Return Of Lavar
He will improve an already EXCELLENT defense......if he had remained healthy we might have been the #1 instead of the #2 defense in the league................
|
Re: Return Of Lavar
We finished #3, Monk.
