Watching the repeat of Redskins at Dallas on Thanksgiving day on NFLN. Cedric had a pretty good game, he will be welcome addition. The one that had a bad game was Banks. I see why Shanahan benched his ass.

Speaking of Crawford and Paul returning KO/PR the ST need to cutback on stupid penalties hurting the returns like in the Eagles game.

It looks like the end is drawing near for Brandon Banks. If Mike Shanahan doesn't decide to keep him in order to give him one last shot by competing with Crawford for the punt return duties next preseason, then perhaps the Redskins can get something for Banks in a trade. Some team out there will undoubtedly want Banks.

It depends what the trade involves. He might be worth a third string defensive or offensive lineman.

banks isn't worth a 5th stringer. no ones going to trade anything for him, matty's right.

Why would anyone trade for Banks? However if there was someone out there thinking that for some reason they want him they will just wait until he is let go n give him a look.
Just watched the Dallas turkey day game and that punt he caught on the two yard line was more horrible of a decision than i remember. They say speed kills, but you still need a dash of talent and a hint of brains.

right now? no. ... BUT ... we let him take alot of the returns in pre-season next season and he looks like his old self and absolutely lights it up... then we could be talking SOMETHING of value or depth for us before week 1... MAYBE.

I agree Cedric Griffin has been missed. If we make it to the playoffs his return will help our defense. He's our most physical corner, and I'm not pissing on Hall and Wilson here because both guys have played tough as nails most of the season. But they're both undersized, whereas Griffin can really put the hurt.

Crawford has filled in nicely though. He's looking to be the first defensive player Shanny drafted beyond the 2nd round to play a significant role for the Redskins down the road.

Banks will just be cut or waived in the off-season. This year was his last shot I think. If some other teams wants him, they will wait for him to be waived.

I wouldn't be surprised if Banks doesn't get picked up anywhere else.

He's too small to play WR on a regular basis and the days of having a designated return man are over.
