Maybe they figured Thomas or Rambo will be around in the 3rd/4th.

I like his size and speed. Don't know much of anything on him, listening to NFL network sounds like he is a bigger Hall, eager for picks, not a straight coverage guy.

I'm with you. He's never impressed me. Still, he has all the makings of a stud FS. If haslett didn't think he could be coached up, we wouldn't have picked him.

Well I never heard of him but certainly not a "reach" like pick according to the draft sites. Playmaker at corner with size and speed. I can definitely live with that, even if it is a corner.

i'm just a bit surprised its not swearinger or jamar taylor or whatever. Hopefully our FO proves itself again after he has a strong season.

In regards to Amerson...

Some teams will project him to safety unless he proves hip flexibility, agility, and speed in workouts.

So... possible safety?
