Skins would be wise to stay on the sidelines during the initial run of free agency. Let things shake out a bit and then go after some middle tier guys. Stop with the thinking that one or two big names fixes everything.

Adam Schefter reports the 2015 cap will be $140- $143 million- this would give the Redskins a minimum of $20 million in cap space.... this is before any cuts, or restructured contacts

I really like most of these potential free agent acquisitions (or similar), as they are mostly middle tier guys who are young and have potential to get better. Beyond drafting well, this is something that our front office really needs to improve upon. I'm hoping and praying that our new GM follows this approach and brings sanity back to the organization. |
