Hello all,

It has taken me 2 years and I've finally joined the warpath yesterday. And now you guys are disbanding; that sucks. I've enjoyed the different point of views that everyone has posted within the past years- now with this split- I guess I'll have surf between different sites to get the overall pictures..............

The way I see it is that this is Matty's sandbox. I like what he's done here. He's been very gracious about letting us all play and accepting input from everyone.

I'm grateful for the work the defecting mods have have done.. I know it hasn't been trivial.... But it's still Matty's sandbox.

I like the whole bunch of you... I just wish you all liked each other enough to stay friends.

that was my point before. I didn't mean that people here were tyrants keeping us only to one site. I meant that i was fine with it if both sites communicated together. i guess that isn't happening and NOW i am mad..

Hmm...Guys, I have been a member of Warpath for a while now, and the thing I like most about the site is the friendly environment and the opportunity to take some time out from the real world and just talk with other 'Skins fans about 'Skins related stuff. When I logged on today that is what I wanted to do and I had no expectations of things going otherwise.

What happened? I think everyone will agree that the Warpath has been a family, growing over time. We all poke fun at each other, respect other people's points of view, and we even wish each other a happy birthday when that time of the year comes along.

There may have been a lot of issues that have brought things to this point, in fact, I am sure that there were many things. However, let's understand that there is always a time to split, a time when the road ahead is going to be different for a lot of us. Many roads will lead apart at this point, but that is all looking forward to where we are going. Before relationships get completely torn apart and all respect is thrown out the window PLEASE take an opportunity to look at all of the things that we, as a group, as the Warpath, have accomplished.

There have been good times. There have been great times. There were times before the Warpath had so many people gracing its footsteps. It was a little fansite where people really got to learn about each other as fans and as people. I assume the moderators all decided to become a group because they all had a common goal: to provide 'Skins fans an outlet to do what they enjoy, TALK ABOUT THE SKINS.

I am sorry to see this day come, but I hope that there can be some sort of peace, because even though your views may all differ, there will certainly come a time when you all can offer something to each other again. You all fought in the same trenches and you all made one hell of an enjoyable site. I thank each and everyone one of you equally for that. I thank each and every member of the Warpath for that as well.

To wrap it all up...the ending may not have been pretty, but there is an opportunity for a new beginning. Let's try to at least get along guys, no matter where you're heading, it's only a matter of weeks now. Do not be angry at what you cannot control...and do not be irresponsible for that which you can...

I just think that joke or not, I'm not freakin out about it. If it's a joke and I freak out, then I just got suckered. But if it's real, I wouldn't anyway. Just deal with the changes and go with the flow, how important is this in my life - I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd put this in the same category as the mcburglar and some of his friends leaving McDonald's - I'll still have some of Le Big Mac, but i'd also have some of what mcburglar's selling (probably the 5 finger discount meal).

Here's my side of the story for now:

1) I have work to do, so this will be my last post on this until later tonight.

2) We've had some differences among that mods and things just aren't going to work out. I've always fought to keep this site high quality and focused on the discussions.

We've never been a site with a bunch of bells and whistles... we do what we do best, talk about the Skins in a typically civil and respectful manner. Some people disagree with the direction we are moving in and feel we should be moving in a different direction, so much like a divorce we are all agreeing to disagree and we are severing the relationship.

I can assure everyone The Warpath will continue on, strong as ever, and nothing is going to change here as far as content.

I'm very confident that we have a solid group of guys to choose from who will step up and be great moderators and contributors to the site's content, in fact I'm confident the new staff will be a dramatic improvement over what we have now.

If anyone wants to check out this new site that is certainly your prerogative.

I don't know how the new site is going to be but I do know this: the idea that this site will be better without Tafkas, Brudlee, MC, and Ramseyfan is ludicrous. That doesn't mean I'm taking a side - I'm not. But they are some of the true mvp's of this site.

I'm not a superstar here, just a guy who visits everyday and reads a lot more than I post. But I think I'm not the only one who feels that we were really starting to build something here as a community, and I don't care what anyone says, it will never ever be the same. This is a sad day in my life.
