Well I guess my mob would be cool because we jsut say "no gay". It's funny because we've been playing that game for so long and it really became a big thing over the past couple of years. Kinda lost the funny in it since everyone does it now. We only laugh when it's outlandishly suspect. I can understand though Quake |

People who drive slow because they are talking on their cell phone. Aforementioned dude was going 45 in a 70 because he was chatting it up on his cell phone and didn't notice he was going mad slow. It's not as bad down here in NC but up in the DMV it's a huge problem (DMV=DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia for you out of staters).
Never heard it called that and I have lived in the area awhile. I guess DMV encompasses DC where Delmarva leaves out DC and replaces it with Delaware. Who knows! LOL! |

I never liked the whole DMV thing weither but I've come to accept it. If you listen to 95.5 or 93.9 then you'll hear it about 500 times in 2 sentences so I feel like Ron Burgundy and I just say When in Rome.....
I'll tell you what my pet peeve is. When I get in the bathroom first and you still have to sit next to me and take your morning dook. WAIT LIKE I DID !!!! I mean come on,...I'm sitting there flushing like 40 times just so I can care about you every single time I have to fart or send a brown bomb to the ocean. F you guy next to me ! |

Re: What's your pet peeve?
In MA its called the RMV, Registry of Motor Vehicles.

Re: What's your pet peeve?
My new big pet peeve is OBX stickers on people's cars. I had a discussion about it on Facebook and jdlea had some good points, but I'm driving around and people actually have vanity plates with OBX in it (I've seen at least 6 just in my town, OBX4US, LUVOBX, etc.).
I'm like, "Does that make you better than normal people?" I mean I've been to nice beaches before but I don't have Hawaii on my license plate. |

All of those dumb white with black lettering oval stickers are stupid. Worst then all that crap is the little stick figure family stickers. Any man who lets their wife put that on their car keeps his balls in his wife's purse. |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
My new one is Peyton manning bitching about this new rule where he has to wait for an official before he can snap the ball. Stop freaking crying! For many years there have been many rules put in place to help the offense. This year they decided to move the Ref and I like the fact that WR's cant use the Ref to get a pick on the defender and get wide open on a drag route.

I'm like, YES, it's a beach, but jeezus, they act like it's literally where heaven is. |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
For the longest time I had no idea what OBX was, nor did I care, people sure love those dumb things though. Around my area you see lots of ADK stickers, for the Adirondacks.

Now the tourist have taken that over "OBX sticker" and you don't see the locals riding around with those stickers anymore. The funny part is that people who own property down there still want people to know they are "a local" so they still sport those stickers. The locals now suport tourism allot more because they realize it means big$$$$. |

That's extremely interesting. I always wanted to know where it came from... On a side note, I apologize to anyone who has this sticker just because the like it. :D It's the people who get CUSTOM freaking license plates that deserve to be called the d-bags. |

I'll tell you what a pet peeve of mine is. Bullet hole decals. WTF ???????
It's a car not a GI-Joe vehicle you dumb ass ! Does it make you cooler to feel like your car has been shot ? You'd go get it fixed wouldn't you ? You wouldn't see me with a dent decal would you ? NO ! |

Re: What's your pet peeve?
In N.Carolina, if you live on the outer banks, your license plate's prefix is "OBX". You can only get that if your residence is actually on the outer banks.

I've lived my whole life in MD but I was born in DC, only because that's where my mom's doctor was stationed out of at the time. Sibley Hospital, holla!
Since I went to a MD state school most of the people were either from the DC area or the Baltimore area, so that's when I really started saying I'm from DC. It got worse once I moved to Baltimore a few years back. Anyway, back to the thread: it's gotten to the point where I get completely enraged when I see people not using their turn signals. If I'm behind you and you signal that you're about to make a left on a busy road I know to slow down and prepare to stop; but if you don't signal I might just assume you're tapping your breaks but I have no idea you could completely stop in the middle of the road. I really hate other drivers. |
Re: What's your pet peeve?

One of my biggest triggers...not using signals. I honk at all of the inconsiderate morons. |

One of my biggest triggers...not using signals. I honk at all of the inconsiderate morons.
We really couldn't share the road. I don't use signals all the time - if i am in a turn only lane you can figure it out yourself - and I seriously hate people who honk. I have slowed to a near crawl once when a lady was rushing through and honking like she owned the road. What was funny is once i started driving again she sped around in front of me, and slowed down to a near crawl, which didn't bother me but I found hilarious as she was now slowing herself down. |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
They should just remove car horns. Half the time you can't even figure out who is honking at who anyway.
