So, I realize this is the Patriots, but 24 points in the first half? [U]They're on pace to put 520 yards and 48 points on us and we're on pace to put up 180 yards and 0 points[/U]. 3.1 yards per pass attempt to go with 3 turnovers?

I thought I would be able to deal with this loss, but I also thought that we would be competitive. This is simply ridiculous and I think I am going to be sick.

I had to check in just to say how unhappy I am with the playcalling,once again,I didnt expect us to win this game,but cmon,why is brady in the shotgun on 1st down and were not?were the ones that need to be aggressive to have any shot and its the same ols bs,hand off to portis,etc,plus betts is running harder than portis,I just dont get it

We need to give Betts a chance to play. That way we'll find out if we have a running game to face the Jets next week >:(

This is the worst 1/2 of football we have seen so far this year. The offense is just flat, the defense didn't change a damn thing and Belichik's staff prepped for it and are just killing us with the short dink and dunk because we are 30 yards off the ball and not jamming their receivers. Has anyone seen anybody bump Welker at the line???

Well, not a single one of us thought we would win...so whether we lose 65-0 or 21-20, a loss is a loss. Sure we're taking it in the ass right now, but there is always next week.

I don't think it would make much of a difference. Both fumbles from Campbell came off of poor blocking on the RB's in the game.

Yeah I felt the same way last night when Ohio St blasted Penn State. You knew they were very good, but not so dominant. To be honest though I don't think it is that NE is so dominant as it is that the rest of the NFL is mediocre. NE is a team running on all cylinders and well, with the exception of Indy, the other guys are only half good, or like our Skins mediocre, with a few teams being dreadful. The NFL needs to get rid ofthe salary cap to improve its product. Also I would put a stop to expansion, the diffusion of talent will only make more medicore teams.

It would be tough for it to be worse. Down 3 TDs and a field goal, O points, 3 turnovers, and lost another starter (rogers) for an extended period of time. I'm not watching the second half. And I'm chugging beers.

our offense sucks, the pats are really unbeatatble and we wont be able to put 24 points on the board without taking any.

I think the big surprise is how awful our D looks. Offense was expected to be incompetent and disorganized, but the D is playing like a bunch of pussies. Landry and Taylor aren't even a presence out there.

Is anybody else surprised at the lack of D?

One problem I have with this team is when I hear Portis say stuff like he did this week when he said we have just as much talent as anyone in the league. These guys have such a warped sense of how good they are. This is a great lesson.

I expected a 35-10 final...that means we almost tie in the 2nd half.

Based on our half time adjustments this year, they may score 30-0 against us.
But, based off of mercy and pulling the starters...they will score 17 and we will score 3

Final will be a respectable 41-3

Watching these Pats it really makes you wonder why the hell anyone else in the league is playing this year because they are playing for 2nd place at best. This is the most complete football team that I think I have ever seen. They are just that good.

no,they broke it out on the first drive and then didnt go back to it,I've been complaining about this for weeks,its driving me crazy!!

I have to say that the Pats are in a whole different class then us. We look horrible. When are we ever going to get some consistancy on offense? Why don't they just let campbell loose? Portis...I know you guys love him, but he is completely overrated! Yes, I am upset, but this is a ridiculous display of football regardless if it is verse the Pats or not...we look horrible!
