Jansen just needs to retire. Plain and simple. I love the guy, but he's done.

Only way to have a chance in this game is for a score from special teams or defense. I know the Steelers D is good, but come on. Our offense isn't exactly chopped liver.

You guys do realize the D we're playing against... were you not expecting JC to get sacked a few times or for the offense to struggle??

It's not like their offense is doing much either.

I say big special team, since our CBs can't hold on to the ball to save their life. That was not just a dropped INT by Rogers, he could have easily scored 6 and we'd be up 13-3.

It was pass interference. Hines adjusted to the underthrown ball and Rogers wasn't in good position. Carlos was draped all over him before the ball got there.

I love Rogers' play this season, but holy shit what a big drop. What should have been a pick-6 eventually led to the blocked punt and a short field for the Steelers TD. I would argue that it was a 14 point dropped INT in a defensive stalemate. Carlos MUST learn to catch the frickin' ball!!!

It was pass interference. But we're down by a PI call and a special teams play. This game is nowhere near over.

I am kind of amazed that so many people were predicting that we'd beat the Steelers by a comfortable margin. This is a team with a GREAT defense. This is going to be a grudge match and we're in for a fight.

In games like these, it comes down to one or two plays -- I liked what the Steelers did with the punt block. You know your offense is struggling, so you load up and go after the punter. It'd be nice if Washington did that for a change. All we do after forcing a punt is call for a fair catch.

Also, go deep once in a while. At least you have the opportunity for a PI call. Again, the Steelers knew that, they tried it, and it worked.

I agree! That's why he's targeted so much: he doesn't come up with INTs and a lot of pass interferences. He's definitely improved this season, but it's stuff like that keeping him from being a pro bowl caliber CB.

Darrell Green didn't had the best hands either. But yeah Rogers is pretty bad. But at least he can cover now.

Well the Redskins got two offensive starts (from two breaks) in Pittsburgh territory and we got 6 points to show for. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh gets two breaks (a PI and the blocked punt) and they put up 10 points. If we keep getting any of these breaks, our team needs to score TDs, otherwise we'll lose.

But if we fall behind by more than one score, or the plan is to open up the passing game, get Heyer in, or Jansen will get Campbell killed.

thats been our problem all year,the last 3 games shouldnt have been close but we keep getting fg's instead of tds,it has to change starting tonite or we wont win
