rum to me is honestly an amateur drink

I've drank 8 dollar fifths and 50 dollar fifths and honestly... vs what else I can get in that upper end, no rum has come far enough past say... 25 aq 750 to make me pursue it

Went to a bar tonight to see a friends band played and encountered the worst bartender ever. My friend ordered a beer, so the bartender opened a can and poured it into a glass. About 30 minutes later we went back to the bar and my friend tried to order another bar. He asked him what other types of beer they had and after telling him he flat out told him that he wasn't going to serve him unless he got a tip. My friend didn't hear him so he asked him how much for the beer to which the bartender repeated that he wasn't going to serve him without getting a tip. Personally I thought he was joking the first time, but sadly it turns out he wasn't.

Ironically we tipped our server 50% during a night cap, in part because the food and service were great, but on top of that we wanted to establish that everyone gets tipped more then this guy.

Also for the record this wasn't a nice lounge type establishment with nice furniture and music played at a decent volume. This was a dive bar in every sense of the word. Still Vinny Cerrato got fired today/yesterday so to be honest nothing can really ruin this day.

drinking and bar hopping was alot of fun this weekend. we were drinking beers as we walked, then drop one or two in the snow as we walked so we could retrieve them, then drink em on the walk back. i dont really remember walking home, im pretty sure theres a bunch of miller lites every quarter mile or so from our house to the bars.

drinking in the snow, at night, is fun but dangerous.

I'm back from the game. Left at halftime, flask still half full. I've never left a game this early in my life.

I had great club level seats, but really... when it came down to it....I just wasn't feeling it and wanting the comfort of a 2$ hot dog and my house. I don't even want to drink anymore. I'm sad.

So I've been drinking red wine of many types over at my Dad's house since about 1:30 this afternoon. My teeth and tounge are purple. So I brushed my teeth. My teeth and tounge are still purple. Now I'm home drinking scotch and watching the Hangover. A propos, considering how hungover I will be tomorrow. Rock and roll.

It was the hap-hap-happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap danced with Danny fuckin Kay.

The game is on the TV. I have one laptop on the Warpath (my older one), and my HD laptop has the movie playing. So I'm triple tasking with football, this site, and a movie. Plus drinking heavily. Yeah.

The Chargers are going to the Super Bowl by the way.

I'm drinking Glenlivet on the rocks right now and watching NFL network. Worked 12 hours today, the fiancee is sleeping. Man time.
