Not trying to make anyone feel bad but my schedule the past couple days has been irregular due to the passing of my fiancee's grandfather. I've been going over to his home after work and helping the family clean out his belongings.

Enough about that as I do not want pity but rather just an understanding that I wasn't on a regular schedule this past week.

Anyway, I think as long as 3/4ths or more of your regular season games aren't simmed that should be good for continuity's sake. Minimum of 12 of 16 games played should prove enough that anyone is not using the CPU as a crutch.


Remember we are playing to have fun...kicking-ass too but having fun should be paramount : ) No need for all the seriousness...life is short : )

I appreciate that but I'm not saying it for the obligatory condolence, although yours is appreciated.

I don't want to see anyone leave the league or get upset at each other over the trivial things. I just like playing and having fun. I hope everyone else does too.

We have a good league going so far. The draft and offseason is going to be awesome.

I was halfway through my game when I got disconnected from the franchise servers. I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago, I was up 17-3 but I'll be starting again just FYI.

LOL ! Maybe not, you know that type of coaching decision can hurt your team in the playoffs ! I'm holding that blitz down when I see you again Nomad. Gotta hit the lab to figure out how to win when it counts. I think I'll be seeing Matty in the second round though as long as I can get past whatever team I play in the first round.

This week I have to avenge my loss to the Giants so sorry Don, looks like we will actually play this one. At home, Sunday night, the Skins are looking for a W !

Damn I forgot about that. Everytime I get the urge to see how inept my offense is I see Carson Palmer up there at the very top. You dudes are sick, I'm alright. I'm on my way though, soon this game will seem like Madden '05 all over again.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Player, I think Mike Vick, could get that award 28 TD - 12 rushing, over 400 yrds rushing over 3000 yrds passing, and got his team 14-0.

I am upset that Brian Westbrook has knocked the $9 Million Baby (ie Lav Coles) off the top of the receivers list but I'll look to fix that over the last couple weeks...:headbange.

PS - I am normally a run first team but Benson is too useless so I have to let Palmer lead my squad. Next franchise I'm gonna take a team with a good back so I can focus on the run more.

Sure fire winner of the MVP race. He's at 2200 rushing yards and he has 3 games yet to play.

He's on pace to shatter E.D.'s rushing record by at least 500 yards. Madden will most certainly award Johnson and the fine organization of the Titans this prestigious title.

Man I f'ing hate this game sometimes. Cutler played lights out meanwhile my guys are dropping balls all over the place and just driving for a FG is an epic struggle. I lost 21-19.

Reminds me of when I played the Raiders, I thought Jamarcus Russell was the second coming of Warren Moon, they were winning the whole damn game, I finally tied it up, and then I on the kick off, I delieved the hit stick, fumble, pick it up and ran in...... 21-14... Game!!!!

All I needed was a FG to win, had the ball on my own 40 with 2 min left. F'ing Harvin drops 2 wide open balls over the middle on 2nd and 10 and then 3rd and 10. On 4th and 10 I had to force a throw and got picked. I was ready to toss my controller through the window.

LOL. Yes Madden is definitely fixed sometimes. I had the craziest game last night...

First half: I'm blowing out the Chiefs so I start to play a little sloppy, trying to pad stats for some of my players. Costs me some points but no big deal, I go into the half up 14-0 and Im getting the ball to start the 3rd quarter.

Second half: The Chiefs come out with the '85 Bears defense and I can't move the ball at all. And Larry Johnson becomes simply untackleable, doesnt matter how many guys hit him.

Next thing I know there's 5 minutes left in the game and I'm down 7 fighting for my life. And then the unthinkable... they knock Palmer out of the game!!

But have no fear cuz Jeff Garcia was plucked off the waiver wire exactly for situations like this! The savvy vet ran a great 2 minute drill and threw the game tying pass on the final play of the game, followed by the game winning TD pass in OT.

Can you say [B]Free Agent of the Year[/B]!!

Anyways my point was that if Madden wants you to lose there's not much you can do about. I had a similar experience against the Bears and they handed me my only CPU loss of the season. And I'm shocked I was able to pull out this Chiefs game, thought I was going down for sure.

Yeah when the fix is in there's not much you can do. I really don't remember the last time I dropped 3 games to the CPU in one season, it's been crazy.

Had an idea for next season, what if we limit our team selection to teams with an overall rating under 80. There are 15 teams to choose from, might make things a little more challenging. Just tossing the idea out there.
