I am seeing some quality players getting let go across the league. If we went for a shotgun approach with pieces that make sense this year instead of reaching for the stars, I will be happy.

I am very happy with everything the team has done so far. This has such a different feel of any of the recent free agent periods.

I hope that happens. I don't think it is a good idea to break the bank for someone who wants to be a 3-4 linebacker but has no track record.

I agree, but lets also remember every FO up till now has been shackled but the sins of the previous ones due to the Salary Cap. This is a new start, a clean slate, this FO has every opportunity to build and live up to their potential. I am hopeful going forward.

I was thinking of that to when I saw he got released but is that just a named to consider or a guy you know knows a thing about a thing?

I agree with Dansby, Rolle, and Robinson. We already got rid of two RB's over the age of 30...no reason to bring in another one....same thing with Jamal Williams....we just got rid of Griffin..no need to bring another 34 yr old DT.

This needs to get younger!!

Let's wait till the end of the weekend till we say that. Other than losing Chris Samuels which is no surprise, we have only cut Randy Thomas. He hasn't really played a full season in years.

He got old quick ot going definately not going to be the next Ray Brown.

Seems like they're going to draft one if Allen is going to stick to his word of rebuilding the entire line in one year. Maaaybe they'll look into Chad Clifton if GB can't lock him up. I'm just speculating.
