People who file complaints against officers that are later deemed “meritless” can subsequently be tried for a felony. The implicit message is “don’t rat out a cop or they will retaliate.”

The immigrant community in Suffolk County, New York is being straight up robbed by local police officers. Evidently, more than a dozen Latino drivers were pulled over without reason. Officers would ask the drivers to hand over their wallet, which would later be returned to them… minus the money. Many of these incidents went unreported for a while; as undocumented immigrants, some victims were fearful of being threatened with deportation for highlighting the theft.[/I]

Dude you need to wake the fuck up and realize Prison Guards are not cops. My good friend was a prison guard at Rahway in NJ(for over 5 years)and he can tell me about stuff 10 times worse than that being done by the prisoners themselves to each other .Look doesn't make it right but your hatred of police is going to be your down fall ,there are bad and good in all aspects of life ,not all cops are bad ,not all meat eaters are selfish .While I don't discount her testimony I wouldn't be surprised if she embellished a bit .
