I would bring him back as our full time slot receiver. If Kelly or a draft pick can contribute as a complement to Moss/Armstrong, we will have the makings of a nice set of receivers. I still want to see the interior of the O-line shored up.
LMAO u said Kelly?

Umenyiora - yet another division nemesis that we passed on in the draft. Ughh!!!
Is this the same meeting where the O-Line convinces the Shanahan that they are an NFL caliber line?
I'm telling you they're not that different from most lines in the league and last I checked Grossman has time to throw while the running game has averaged 4.3 YPC. So yeah, I would say that they're NFL caliber, except for the Center, but even Rabach has been playing well today. Believe it or not lines need time to develop as well. Of course in line speak we call it gelling.

Alex Smith is basically a side grade from Grossman. Great. We'll be stuck with mediocrity another year.

I think Grossman thinks we have a good o-line and he can sit back there all day.

I would have liked for this year to be the season where we develop a line with a mediocre QB. It looks like it will be next year.

O-Line has been really up and down.. sometimes he does have all day.. other times he has no time.. when you try to trust they let you down

I have no idea why we would take Smith, he's Jason Campbell

Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread

Leave it to us to have an opposing team nab a record. Sheli's career long pass and now the NFL record for forced fumbles in a season.

Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread

I also blame the line for not blocking the subprime mortgage bill during the 90's.

Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread

In Rex's Defense... He wasn't sitting back there to long. I mean he just set back after his 5 step drop.

Mcnabb would be been still dropping back and got sacked.

Osi's been doing that for years.

They may get Kolb. Then juskins accuses Kolb for deliberate sabatoge.

Austin should have been playing a long time ago.
