Re: 2011 Redskins Free Agent Rumors and Reports Thread
Just saw a tweet quoting Orakpo, "This year, we're not going through all that Albert nonsense. If he's here or he's not. I don't even want to discuss it."
Rumors that McIntosh might be released.
Well Rocky's a free agent so I'm not exactly sure he'd be released. But yeah we've talked for a while here about him not coming back |

Hehe...my prediction of getting a medium pizza and a two litre Pepsi for Stainsworth may be wrong.

This.
Recent News A team source tells CBS Sports' Clark Judge that the Redskins are willing to take "anything they can gain in return" in a trade for Albert Haynesworth. The same source insists two things: 1) Haynesworth will be traded and not cut, and 2) the Redskins will make sure he doesn't go to the division rival Eagles with old line coach Jim Washburn. "They'll give him away for a ham sandwich instead of cutting him and running the risk of his showing up in Philadelphia," said the source. Aside from the Eagles, Haynesworth's market is unclear at this time. He's expected to show for Redskins camp later this week. Jul 26,
|

Orakpo needs to just say hey al, i know you want the glory but for every sack I get from you occupying both guards and the center ill buy you a steak and tweet aobut how youre the man! |
Re: 2011 Redskins Free Agent Rumors and Reports Thread
Well........I would consider trading a ham sandwich for him, maybe some Grass mowing and yard work duty? Speed would not really be an issue......so....it might work.
Ehhhhrrr check that, my John Deer can smoke the shuttle. |

Or Shanny wanted the ham sandwich to be a Reuben. Corny joke aside I hope this means they are willing to be flexible with compensation and trade this guy away. Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk |

A good friend of mine is a Cowboys fan. Hes not that upset besides the fact theyre ridding players from the Oline leave Romo vulnerable. Barber & Roys production is worth the cut.
But whats the deal with the Vikings talks? Who would we get in return? Bryant McKinnie would be nice... i hope its not draft picks. |
Re: 2011 Redskins Free Agent Rumors and Reports Thread
You rarely hear Skins fans say they hope we don't get draft picks

Re: 2011 Redskins Free Agent Rumors and Reports Thread
yea i rethought that myself. But they have some talent over there that can help us win NOW. Were far off but we have a shock roster. Lets win some games this year and get Shanny over .500
I wouldn't be too upset if we got Braylon. I just hope we don't break the bank. BTW Edwards would only be suspended by the league (if that happens) but as far as the whole DWI he only has to pay a fine (according to the football today podcast)
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
Carlos Rogers Hands>>>>>>>>Braylon Edwards Hands........I'd be PISSED....I'd rather put my faith in the hands of our current WR core w/o any FA WRs added, that's how wack Edwards is to me. He'll put a deep TD out of his ass every now and then, but he's garbage. |

I'm disappointed, too. But I suppose it takes a little time to get everything into gear: offers made, contemplated, etc. But we should be hearing more "agreement in principle" news over the next few days and then Friday will be huge. |
friday
Yeah but you can still trade in principle, its just nothing can happen officially until friday. That would make me believe that we would still be hearing about stuff now, today. |

Ya don't want to work out a deal then have a seat until you do. Keep him as 3rd string until he caves and decides he wants to play like Payton Manning. On that note he is not like Payton, he needs to wake the F up. |
Re: 2011 Redskins Free Agent Rumors and Reports Thread
I just saw on NFL Network that we resigned Santana Moss to a three year deal.
