So where are the people that insisted the he be kept here in Washington so Shanahan could teach him a lesson, change the team culture, and blah blah blah?? We are a better team with him gone.

Re: Haynesworth to the Patriots for a 5th rounder.
This columnist apparently catches on fast. Check out these spot on comments about Big Al:
"A Superior Court judge in Washington yesterday ordered Albert Haynesworth to perform 160 hours of community service, assuring that the District of Columbia will get more time and effort out of Albert than the Redskins ever did. At the conclusion of the proceedings, the Patriots had one question for Judge Geoffrey Alprin, a Providence native: Any chance you could get him to put in a few hours for us, too?" "Haynesworth told investigators he doesn’t care for black women. 'I couldn’t even tell you the last time I dated a black girl,' he said to the cops. Dating is one thing. When it comes to groping, the big fella apparently does not discriminate." "The victim had her arms full of dishes when the incident took place, so we can assume she did more hard work that night than he did the last two seasons in Washington." "He lies down like a dog on the Redskins, he gets a first-class ticket to Foxboro. Must be nice." "There is no evidence that he likes to play football. See his brief stay in Washington: He didn’t want to play on early downs. He didn’t want to play in the preseason. He didn’t want to play nose. He didn’t want to get up and chase Michael Vick after he got knocked down." "Albert Haynesworth is the worst of the bad guys, a pampered athlete who doesn’t have much more respect for teammates and coaches than he does for waitresses and janitors." |

I'll pass. I've seen too many Redskins fans doing the same thing over the course of 2 years. I've had enough of the foolishness from both him and the fans. |

Skins would have been a better team without him last year too. I never advocated keeping Haynesworth here; I even said when they signed him that he had a lot of "reputation" to live down. With regard to the current managment of the Skins:
Give them an A+ for ditching this guy as soon as the lockout ended - - and for getting something more than a bag full of kicking tees in return. Give them an F for not ditching him last year sometime along the way when it was obvious that he was not going to play hard for them (perhaps after that Eagles' game when he flopped around on the field for about 10 seconds like a beached whale).
|

I didn't know Haynesworth was still in town.

I have to say, I find this shit amusing when somebody else has to deal with it....lol
BostonHerald.com - Blogs: Rap Sheet» Blog Archive » Patriots coach Bill Belichick with an update DLs Mike Wright and Albert Haynesworth (as it gets a little testy)
It got a little tense and awkward, actually. Belichick was asked a series of questions about Haynesworth, answering some, not answering a few, and maintaining his tight discipline of not accepting the premise of a question he doesn’t believe in. Want a sample? Hang on tight. Question: Haynesworth missed 20 days of practice. Is that an injury issue? Answer: “He missed practice because he wasn’t ready to practice.” Question: Did he show up in shape? Answer: (And away we go) “That’s as much as I can tell you. Players that are ready to practice, practice. The ones that aren’t, don’t practice. If they’re ready, we play them.” Question: Because in Washington… Answer: (Interrupting) “Yeah, I can’t really tell you what happened anywhere else. I’m sure you can get a lot of details from somewhere else. I can just tell you here, players that are ready to practice, practice. When they’re not ready to practice, they do what they need to do to get ready to practice. When they’re ready, they’re on the field. It’s the same for everybody.” Question: Is it a coincidence that his first day of practice was after his legal issues? Answer: “When they’re ready to practice, they practicing (Sensing a pattern?) He was out there before then… Question: But he came back a day after… was that a coincidence? Answer: “I don’t know.” (Awkward silence) Question: But it was pending when you traded for him… Answer: “Sure, we knew about it. Absolutely.” Question: When you’re acquiring a player, is that something you have to do your homework on? Answer: “Whenever you acquire a player, you look into whatever information you can get about the player.” Question: (Still at it) So, you have to reach a comfort level… Answer: “Obviously.” Yeah… pretty tense and awkward. But man, Belichick’s ability to straight line is a little impressive…
:laughing2 |

Only in Boston do you see a 4 yard gain as a some wtfawesome moment for a player. Not only that, it's against ****ing second stringers. Geez, EVERYONE KNOWS AH can rape second-stringers(see Chicago last year). |

Sooo, Mr. "Dominant" here is now a depth player, because some dude named K. Love(#74) was in the starting lineups broadcasted by CBS. Oh, and the less-talented Andre Carter was a starter. LOL
It's only Week 2, by the way. HAHAHAHAHA. |

They have sick minds that would probably excuse a murderer if he simply helped them win championship.
He was the most impactful defensive player in the season-opening win against the Dolphins, with two run stuffs, two hurries and 1.5 knockdowns (two holding penalties drawn are included in those numbers). Against the Chargers, Haynesworth didn't have one impactful play. He didn't even show up on the stat sheet. Haynesworth wasn't terrible or anything -- he competed fine (although his final two plays were a little suspect) -- you just expect an obviously talented player to have some sort of an impact.
Never mind that Henne roasted the Pats D when Haynesworth hurried him. NEVER MIND THAT #91 HELPED WILFORK GET A SACK. NEVER MIND THAT GUARD FOR MIAMI WAS ****ING ROOKIE.
That being said, we don't know what Bill Belichick's instructions are to Haynesworth. Sometimes a coach will tell certain players they don't need to worry about their gaps. But it's going to expose the players behind them if the player doesn't take enough blockers with him.
DUDE. ****ING DUDE, Belichick is probably the biggest hardass out there because of his military background.
