Funny thing about over at Cowboyszone, is they also have a thread suggesting they give a 5th round pick for Aaron Curry, yet their 'Boys LB are awesome. Funny, I don't think I saw anyone here saying let's go get Curry. (although there's always someone.)

Well for what it's worth all 4 hosts on Playbook picked us to win. Joey T was a given of course.

That playbook stuff makes me laugh because I can't believe we actually scored 4 touchdowns against Dallas with Roydell Williams as our 3rd WR lol..

I do agree with them though.. This is not a finished product in Washington but we are looking better every week since Grossman hit the field

The way Romo threw the ball against the Jets Hall could have 3 INT's. When we put pressure on his ass...who knows where the ball is going?

I can't wrap my brain around being a member/poster on your arch-rival's message board. Like the Cowboys and Giants fans around here... I don't get it. Why? You couldn't pay me to hang out on a Cowboys message board. A) I don't have the time, and B) I'm not a glutton for insults. Makes zero sense to me.

Yeah it is one thing when it is at work or somewhere that you don't have a choice. Most of them are the same type of fans that never came from where their team is, but know more due to the internet.

I work a Saturday morning Farmer's Market for my wife's business. Just spent 20 minutes talking smack with a Cowboy's fan. Most of it was just talk but then he pulls out that "Romo is a Super Bowl caliber QB". I laughed but then laughed even harder when he was serious! Told him, get to a SB, then he can be considered a "SB caliber" QB.

My best line - He told me they were going to beat the Skins by 14 points "that's two touchdowns!!". I congradulated him on being the first Cowboy's fan I met who could add b/c most of them think 10 years with one playoff win equals a Super Bowl.

If practice is any indication then Romo, Dez Bryant, and Felix Jones will play Monday.

The Dallas and Redskins games have been very close the last 3-4 years. Many of the games could have gone either way. I'm worried about this game because we have not played well against division opponets on Monday night. The last game was a brutal loss to the Eagles at home. We will see how different this team truely is this Monday night because the entire world will be watching to see if we fall right on our faces. We have to remember most NFL fans think Rex is a joke at QB because of his days in Chicago. This is our time to shine and prove to the world that the Redskins are not a joke and we are contenders. HTTR

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread

All this week the media have been focusing on Tony Romo's ribs, and if he will play. You know what I hope he plays because he will be thinking about those ribs when he gets hit. I dont care what kind of pads he will be wearing to protect his ribs, when a 240-300 lb man even falls on you it hurts. I just hope we focus on stoping the run and forcing Dallas in 3rd and longs to get after whoever plays QB. I hope Josh Wilson, LaRon, Mike Sellers and D.Young can all play. I saw they were Limited in practice.

I just changed my Avatar for the Monday night game against Dallas. This was a great hit by Lavar to put Akimen out of the game. This was also his last game as a Cowboy so maybe this team can do the same for Romo or Kitna. HTTR

sadly, I am sure that we will hear how they weren't at full strength if we win. Even if everyone other than Austin plays.

I think we ended up losing that game, and LaVar's hit was just the last of many concussions Aikman received that season.

I hope the skins punish him tomorrow. The skins have tough back to back games, St. Louis won't be easy next week after getting their rear ends kicked by Baltimore and are playing at home.

Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread

Honestly, Monday Night games blow! I hate waiting all day, plus up late, plus we aren't a great Monday Night team.

As for the game, I am glad that it will be us against their starting lineup (minus Miles). It really is a test of where we stand as a developing team. I also hope Romo plays the whole game, mainly cuz I hate backup quarterbacks. I expect a good showing tonight, the key will to not let them get a quick strike or two early. Their team is built for the vertical game, and although it's tempting to blitz, I think we are better off letting 4-5 rush and focus on capitalizing on Romo's mistakes, which he will make. We need to have someone lock down Witten to, although I am not sure we have a one on one defender that suits that task. Their running game has been non-existent, but part of that was the San Fran defense.

Hope to see one or two (or more) good defensive scores/turnovers, and Rex needs to be careful with his throws. Also, their young LB Sean Lee has been a tackling machine, so we need to be aware of that on cutbacks and when the OL get to the second level.

I think this is a step up in competition for both teams. That said, I predict we have the lead going into the 4th quarter, but it will be a nailbiter (again :()

The Rams are a bad team so far. You can't take anyone for granted of course, but even on the road that's a game the Skins should win.
