Good. Cowboys don't have the personnel for a Tampa 2 system and will have to make a lot of changes on defense. Doesn't suit their two press corners and they will have no DE depth as they switch to the 4-3 with D. Ware moving to the DE. He won't last banging against big bodies for very long.

College is different. Didn't Kiffin run mostly a 4-3/Tampa 2 D? I wonder if he'll bring the 4-3 to Dallas. A bit crazy given that they have a guy like Ware. Although after this injury-ridden year, I wonder if he'll be the same player.

This does nothing to scare me. Their personnel and his scheme aren't a match. Plus his son damn near had to fire him at USC last season. Plus he has to take his afternoon naps.

Yeah, but JJ still refers to him as a "youngster." Emeror Palpatin has had sufficient "work" done such that we don't really know his age.

In all fairness USC didnt fair much better without him. But the naps are going to be a huge problem when camp starts.

Its such a strange hire, just makes me believe Jerry doesnt think Garrett is the guy. Being that Kiffen is so old, if Garrett has one more year and doesnt get it done, then a new regime makes it easier to get rid of Kiffen...or Jerry didnt want to get a guy who wouldnt be a threat to Garrett's job? Dunno, just doesnt make sense to get a guy this old who is going move all the way back to a 4-3 and for just a short time there.

I read and heard the same thing today about how the Cowboys switching to the 4-3 is good for the NFC East because their CBs, Carr and Claiborne are better in man and press zone. Also in order to have a good tampa 2 you need 2 good safeties that can cover (they don't have 1) and you need an athletic MLB, which they said Sean Lee isn't.

Kinda like us running a 3-4 when we didn't have the right personel. It's funny, but crazier things have happened.

Rob Ryan called an audible and snuck out to the beach at low tide. Now Green Peace is working overtime trying to pour water over him to keep him from drying out while he deliriously shouts something about "5 minutes!" over and over again. De-beaching is ongoing, updates to follow...

Have any of our assistants been interviewed by other teams? Any confirmed interest in Kyle, Haslett, or Smith? They have been available for a week, so I thought there might be some movement.

Right, because playing to lose would look way better on a resume than playing to advance to the AFC Championship game.

You can thank Foxball for that. Panther fans were having flashbacks after watching that Broncos/Ravens game. They've seen that script all too often.

Sad thing is, this idiot still says he wouldn't do anything different. That should be a sign for Elway to fire him. Not a good HC. Great coordinator though.

i definitely agree they would be better off with a defensive minded coach. Either way, i dont see them being competitive for a while.

Still surprised at Jon Gruden not getting much interest. I'm assuming he's wanting more money/control than teams are willing to give him.

Also surprised that no one scooped up Lovie Smith already. I think he's a great coach.

So he played to win? Like every coach does? I don't think the playcalling at the end of the Ravens-Broncos game was really that bad. Players gotta execute at the end of the day.
