Sanchez will get a real contract and will be at least a backup. I was thinking Pryor would be a minimum type deal and be a project to learn the position for a year and see IF he could get good enough to be a backup when Kirk is traded next year.
Rumor is Raiders will release Terrell Pryor. 3rd quarterback anyone?
I"d rather have a QB who could throw, even if he'd be 3rd string. Pryor is one of the more athletic players in the NFL, but he can't pass worth beans. If he were to compete with Sexy Rexy and perhaps an UDFA or two and win the 3rd spot, I'd be fine with that.

I wonder if we'll even carry 3 QBs. Gruden only carried 2 in Cincinnati, but then, his starting QB wasn't an injury question mark.

Terrell Pryor needs to start learning routes and become a WR (6'4", 234 lbs.; 4.3 40).

It'll be interesting to see if Knowshon Moreno can continue his success with the Dolphins. Lamar Miller is better, but perhaps Moreno can add some versatility, as long as he stays healthy.

Not illegal being a prima donna WR in the league, thats really the only fact about him. Never really been in trouble, I'd would take a long look for sure

As Grant Paulsen on 106.7 mentioned, here's an article that was posted about an hour before Desean Jackson was cut- DeSean Jackson's gang connections troubling to Eagles | NJ.com

Looks like this might've prompted the cut. I still would consider signing him, but it might be moot considering he probably wouldn't put on red.

skinsfaninok 03-28-2014 01:26 PM

I know he does the whole anti bullying thing but maybe that's just a cover up. Who knows

To outright waive a player of that skill, I suspect the Eagles have learned a lot more about Jackson's gang connections that just what is in the NJ.com article. I hope the Redskins steer well clear of him.

Re: NFL Free Agents Signings Thread

I think the gang connections are blown out of proportion. Kelly probably thinks he can get a 1000 yards out of any of his WR he lines up.
10Mill for a spoiled player is the reason he was cut.

Interesting point about wearing red, I see him going to the Chiefs to reunite with Reid.

skinsfaninok 03-28-2014 02:00 PM

I think he could land back in California maybe Oak or Sd

This may be random but what's the word on Rob Jackson? All this talk about DeSean Jackson made me think about him. I feel bringing him back would be a great move. He provides solid rotational depth and the occasional big play. These are the small moves that could make us a better team.

Any word? Been out of the loop lately, obviously.

JoeRedskin 03-31-2014 08:58 PM

Re: NFL Free Agents Signings Thread

From the various twitter accounts and other "side info" I have read, I don't think R.Jax has any intention of coming back here. Maybe, but only as a last resort because he is buried on the depth chart (from his perspective) and, despite him being in the "right place right time" on a couple of occasions he doesn't really bring much to the table.

I like the guy and think he is solid depth but I think he wants to start somewhere and has been told that ain't happening here anytime soon.
