i don't remember any of this but i cannot blame you. and i was on the torain wagon!
The game was infamous for two reasons: 1) it was McNabbs last start as a Redskin, and 2) we had scored the ball at the last second to end the game, and instead of getting the easy point after, which would have sent us into OT, our punter botches the snap catch and the ball was sent back flying to the 40yd line.

i camt see them getting rid of RG3 unless they have either a proven QB that they trade for or unless they draft MM? neither of which would surprise me and in either case RG3 would definetly be gone.

I can hardly believe that the RGIII saga has come to this. In his first year, his play rejuvenated the franchise and earned him the ROY award. Now, it seems like we can't wait to get rid of him.

It will soon be just another miserable chapter in the miserable history of the Redskins during the Dan Snyder years.

Why? He's played poorly the past two years and seems to be a locker room issue. It's a sunk cost at this point, whatever value we can get from him is a gain.

One man does not make a team. Let's fix the OL first and then give him & KC a fear shot. I just don't understand most people saying give KC a chance but not RG3.

Since JG doesn't want him and Snyder does, I say Scot McC will make the final decision.

Any chance RGIII gets traded? Any truth to the rumblings that Coach and Owner aren't on the same page philosophically? #jkmailbag @john_keim

— DennisDuncan (@DennisDuncan4) March 19, 2015

Keim: If it were up to the coach, Griffin would be gone. The owner, it appears, wants to keep him around another year. Griffin does not have a ton of supporters on the football side as far as feeling he can become the sort of franchise quarterback they once envisioned. So, no, I don't think they're on the same page. Not saying Jay Gruden is right or wrong in his assessment, just that they differ. I think the only way Griffin gets traded is if another quarterback comes back in return (probably obvious). Based on the coaches not having much confidence in him, anything is possible. But they'll have to convince the owner it's a smart move and I'm not sure they'll be able to do so.

Because KC was on pace for 5000 yards and 32 TDs. Yes, he had the turnover issue, but history shows that even the best QBs struggle with turnovers early on in their careers, and Cousins has only started 9 games.

And the O line wasn't nearly as big of an issue with McCoy and Cousins under Center. Why people insist the O-line is terrible is beyond me. Every Analyst, Coach, Scout and Pundit that has reviewed RG3's game film blame him for a vast majority of the protection issues.

The O-line can be improved, but RG3 will continue to make them look bad with his erratic play and inability to get rid of the ball.

It's not unreasonable to think Cousins can't get better after only 9 starts. It's entirely reasonable to pass judgment on RG3 after 36 starts.

Re: 2015 Draft Prospects... First Edition

Problem is Cousins has had the INT issue going back to college. And his inability to handle the adversity of it last year is a concern.

Wow, well if SmootSmack is saying that RGIII is likely to be moved this year, then it does make me consider the possibilities of some deal with San Diego. I have always been high on Phillip Rivers. To me, he's one of the elite quarterbacks in the league. To grab him AND still have a 1st round pick would be great. The 'skins are likely to trade down anyway.

However, if the Chargers are wanting Marcus Mariota, I just don't see how he falls in the 'skins lap? I would assume they'd have to do whatever they could to jump up to at least the #2 spot. But if he does fall to #5, the Redskins need to either take him, or trade that pick to the Chargers for Phillip Rivers. I'd prefer to roll with Rivers, still have a first round pick at #17, which is still a possibility for the 'skins to trade down and pick up more draft picks.

If this scenario were to happen, I would not be upset in the least. Well, except for having to stare at the #10 jersey that my wife gave me for Christmas back in 2012.

I heard this on the radio last week. If this opportunity presented itself the Skins have to take it. You still keep your first rounder and you get a franchise QB for the next 3-4 years or so. Chargers can't be that stupid can they?

I would suggest you are not alone in that particular hell. My wife also wanted an RGIII jersey for Christmas. I had to drive down to Columbia to get the jersey b/c everyone around Baltimore was licensed only to sell Ravens' gear. (Same Christmas, my parents gave me an Orakpo jersey. - lol)

When I went to the training camp in 2013, half of all the jerseys being worn were RGIII.

So, if I am hearing what you're saying, they are trying to move him and are willing to do so - but there is some value the want in return. It's not exactly "Oh dear God, someone take him - just offer us a ham sandwich and he's yours."

Except that, if it were up to JG, not even a ham sandwich would be required.

I'm a huge rivers fan, bottom line. If that type of move was made, and we didn't give up picks... I couldn't honestly complain. But, I also find the scenario highly unlikely, a long shot at best.

Re: 2015 Draft Prospects... First Edition

It sounds like Scot McCloughlan has finished watching all of the QB tape of the last two years and done his evaluations. He realizes the team option 5th year on RGIII at $18.4M guaranteed is out of the question at this time. That 5th year option has a deadline of May 2015, so the deadline will pass without it getting picked up. So trading him and trying to get value back of course is on the table. This not personal, just a football decision.

I liked Gregory but, knowing this, if I had a vote on drafting Gregory it would now be a strong NO. It's not that I think he's a bad person; rather, it's because we've already had players who proved that a man can love smoking weed more than he loves making millions of dollars playing NFL football. We just can't afford to waste a draft pick on him.
